The V gives me a Washington DC vibe. Anyone else?
GTA 5's official 'V' logo - which looks more than a little bit like a US bank note - also seems to back up rumours that the next game will feature themes of global recession, yet another suggestion that Rockstar could be taking a step towards the real world.
Wow, that's more than just a little hyperbole there...
The V gives me a Washington DC vibe. Anyone else?
This is what I and a few others have said. Especially with money in politics being a problem, which is something that Rockstar could easily tear in to. Its a lot of fuel for their fires.
I'm happy as long as there's no bowling-loving cousins and black men telling me to "keep up mothafucka"
ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN, CJ.
that fucking mission
Wow, that's more than just a little hyperbole there...
Well, in all likeliness, the recession will probably be featured in the next one, it'd be hard to pass up perhaps the biggest issue of the last decade and certainly the biggest of the last five years.

Oh god that mission when the ballers did a drive by after getting food from that faste food place, Ryder and sweet were shooting while big smoke was eating his chicken nuggets :v:
You're right. But it's extremely rare to find anybody who prefers 4 to San Andreas.
I much prefer IV over SA if only because of the horrendously thick and obnoxious gangsta vibe.
It could stand for Vendetta: A blood feud in which the family of a murdered person seeks vengeance on the murderer or the murderer's family. Sounds like GTA to be honest.
You're right. But it's extremely rare to find anybody who prefers 4 to San Andreas.
I like IV more than San Andreas.
That's what Vice City Stories had - it sucked.
It was a good game but the story just wasn't interesting.
I like IV more than San Andreas.
Wow, you totally proved me wrong. You're the majority here. [editline]25th October 2011[/editline]
It was a good game but the story just wasn't interesting.
The story is what I was referring to, yeah. It's a very fun game, especially for the PSP.
I don't think its going to be any of the previously used cities.
I think everyone here has some nostalgia goggles on about San Andreas. It really wasn't that "wacky" or great. Sure, if you put on cheats to get a jetpack and unlimited ammo, then it was pretty "wacky" , but just the setting and story-line itself wasn't that great.
Hope they port it properly this time and give it back some of the fun atmosphere from San Andreas whether it is set there or not
You have to admit, IV was incredibly cartoony compared to the previous games. But I liked that, it gave the characters more... well, character. Ballad of Gay Tony was my favorite of them all. I can only currently imagine what they have in store for GTA V.

It's a lot better to me. I've won Vice City 6 times, and San Andreas twice. 4 I barely finished it once, and gave up on the second DLC. It's just not as fun.

For me, SA was developed during the period when hip hop was most popular, and it was effing cool to be a gangster. Now, most people don't give a shit about that and i think they recognize this. If i had it my way, GTA5 would take place in the UK or in Paris. Those are the interesting places. But then again, GTA has always been the game that satirizes the american dream, so it makes sense that r* wants to stay away from other countries.

I'll put my money on Washington DC
