The old Spongebob episodes had actual wit and humor that people of all ages could laugh at. Now it's just tired and old and unfun to watch.

Spongebob has no continuity. Never did, never will. I mean they have two different versions of Neptune and there's like 10 different origin stories for the Krabby Patty.

If Spongebob dies then I'm pretty sure Nickelodeon will basically having nothing animated to air.

If you look at the 24 hour schedule, Spongebob is often the only cartoon listed.

It took them a long time to make new episodes again (like almost 2 years).

Then they stopped again after their first season back.

They have gone back again.

Also the creator left after the movie.

I love the movie, watched it twice in theaters. I own season 1 and 2 of the show on box sets, and i bought the movie soundtrack. I watched the 24 hour marathon, and bought Battle For Bikini Bottom and the movie game. I loved Spongebob to death and to see it how it is now is sad.

I'd like to hope this could turn around the series, but it probably won't.
