What a dick. Wrongful termination anyone?
There's nothing wrong about this, it's completely legal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At-will_employment). Being a weirdo that takes pictures of people and records them in the middle of a meeting is just asking for trouble in the first place.
I still use AOL :(
Ouch. -0.16 (-0.43%) Down.
The guy who was taking photos regularly posted pictures from meetings to their internal news network; so he was pretty much doing his job.
Yes it was his job to take photos at meetings. My guess is that the ceo was just having a bad day and said something without really thinking about it first.
AOL still exists?
seriously AOL is still alive? can't they just die already, i mean this dude is saying he's so commited to this network, but at the same time he's going to fire a bunch of people, then he just casually fires someone like that? he could have just said get out not that.
They still do broadband, which is fucking god awful.
Not to mention his skills with a trumpet. Man this guy has truly forgotten the wonderful world we live in.
With this fiasco, everyone will think he's an American idiot.
