Kid Rock on Fox News: 'The European dream is my nightmare'

You know, you read stories about people that are "monsters," people that are just so sickeningly callous and unloving of their fellow human beings or countrymen, but it's really just a different thing entirely to see one of them defending their awful, awful thoughts. It's like watching Mao justify his communist reign (I had to use Mao because the allotted Hitler/Nazi party reference in this thread has been used up).
Just in case it needs to be stated to any non-US residents out there, please, don't let this insensitive unsympathetic douche monger make you think any less of US citizens. I'm one myself, and I actually like people, instead of hating them and hoping they die painfully so that I don't have to pay extra taxes!
Now, it's time for me to go to my annual Nazi party rally. I'll catch you guys later!

Oh yeah, I forgot.
:godwin:
These are the kind of people that give Americans bad names.
"But you get all these politicians who have been eating out of the public trough for year after year ... and you wish they would be in it to do something good for the country, not just to make a career out of it and get reelected."
Wow I'm surprised. He did say one intelligent thing.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/10/19/AR2009101902451.html
Most Americans support the public option. You can't attribute the reason for the result of a single, one-state election to a nationwide issue. That's not realistic politics. But then again, you're glaber, the confurvative who knows nothing about how the American government works, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Because the republicans are fighting any sort of reform tooth and nail and because while the democrats want healthcare reform, they're too busy in-fighting about the specifics to stand as a unified force. It's not congress vs. america, it's congress vs. other members of congress dummy. The majority of Americans may support it, but that doesn't mean it's going to be the exact same in congress.
That poll, and article, are both dated last October. You're going to need a more recent poll and article to convince me. Also why are the Republicans opposing the reform? If the majority of Americans support it, shouldn't they be voting for it? It only makes logical sense.
One day I'd like to wake up and everyone drives a diesel that can go from England to Scotland and back on a single fuel tank. Without the sulfurous smell of the shitty diesel that we get here.
We need health care reform, fix medicare and medicaid, and get the bullshit out. We need to have the percentage of unionized workers back up to 1950s levels. We need to stop making finance our primary industry and make industry and manufacturing king, agriculture second.
America needs fixing up.
Boy, do I have a stroy to tell you guys about Kid Rock.
There was this Guitar Hero competition at Best Buy. The prize was to get 2 tickets, front row center, to Kid Rock's concert in my town.
Anyways, none of us knew that Kid Rock was actually going to be there. When he first came out he just looked like some random pothead, but it turns out it was him.
So. The first guy starts, and we realize that the T.V. is waaaay out-of-synch with the console, so all of the contestants, including me, were yelling at the people hosting it to synch it.
I was yelling particularly loud. I was about 11 or 12 at the time, so I hadn't developed a deep voice yet.
So Kid Rock, upon hearing me, looks my direcion, points to me and yells:
"Grow a man voice!"
Everyone goes dead quiet as the officials agree to synch the T.V. after Mr. Rock's outburst.
Anyways, I finish 6th out of 300 people. I was pretty pleased, when some random guy I had just met in the crowd yells at Kid Rock:
"Who needs to grow a man voice now?!"
And to this very day I still loathe Kid Rock. I have taken a solemn vow that, upon his death, I shall go to the cemetary in which is he buried and piss on his grave.

lol you think the republicans care about the American people
Like the Democrats actually care about the American people?
I agree with the Prius thing. They are one of the shittiest cars ever made.
I have nightmares where everyone drives a prius too.
I have nightmares where everyone drives a prius too.
oh no people don't have my likes and beliefs this is a nightmare
i have nightmares where people all listen to rap!
A common recurring event in Canada is the closure of a hospital due to lack of use and patients, then a story about how a pregnant lady or injured person from the same area had to drive three hours to the nearest hospital afterwards as a result.
It's actually an uncommon outlier event.
But I can see how you'd get those two distinctions mixed up.
There's a reason why Eric Cartman was studying Kid Rock in order to learn how to mimic mentally challenged people for the Special Olympics.

Well considering the severity of it just the number of times it has happened makes it common enough.
lol you think the republicans care about the American people
Do you think any politicians care about the American people?
i have nightmares where people all listen to rap!
Me too, wanna get married?
Well considering the severity of it just the number of times it has happened makes it common enough.
The severity of it is less than that of someone being unable to get medical attention because they don't have the proper insurance.
America should go back to isolationism. That's when we progressed the most.
The severity of it is less than that of someone being unable to get medical attention because they don't have the proper insurance.
I'd call it as one and the same. If there's no hospital around, or its too far to bother, whether or not the care is free is hardly the point by then. But yeah, if its just far away but still accessible, it is better, but it doesn't mean "Can't complain".
I'd call it as one and the same. If there's no hospital around, or its too far to bother, whether or not the care is free is hardly the point by then. But yeah, if its just far away but still accessible, it is better, but it doesn't mean "Can't complain".
Where did this happen, by the way? I can't find any reference to it anywhere.
Where did this happen, by the way? I can't find any reference to it anywhere.
I'd be lying if I said I haven't been looking for it myself. I know its happened at least a few times, in outlying, northern towns - Northern Quebec, the territories mostly. But I can't find a bloody source for it anymore.
And to think, these are the people that are todays role models.
~~my tale of kid rock n' how I know his ex~~
It was freshmen year, my first time doing weed. I was doing it with some friends and some girls, one of the girls mom owned the house and was okay with everything as long as we don't run off or anything. So anyways it ends up with the girls mom telling me her entire life story while I'm basically shit faced BUT, she did in fact date Kid Rock and was left for Pamela Anderson, and she showed me pictures.
I don't disagree with him. I would much rather drive an american made econo car than a foreign car, I'd rather live in a large house that I worked my ass off to afford so that I could accommodate my large family, and I sure as hell would rather be paying my own health insurance than get mediocre insurance through the government and pay for dumb fucks who leach off the system.
Last time I checked I've got a mouth full of teeth and a 2 year degree in Law enforcement working on a 4 year for Criminal Justice.
and when you get your job as a beat cop and can't afford to live in an apartment, then tell me if paying your own healthcare is preferable
and for the record, the NHS system is far more superior in quality to the US
His music sucks but I agree.
I personaly think we should all just have a nation wide test about the world, if you fail, you die, unless you prove to be usefull to the community, such as a child, great doctor, scientist, etc...
easy there, hitler

yes, you're a troll... this is getting annoying.
Where's Scorpious when you want him?
We need him?
^Do Not Want, Yet Obama does.
You don't know what you're talking about...
Why do the people in congress have to "Force" this reform through?
Because it's a goddamn necessity?
I'm doing fine cause My family works their ass off to get to where we are. Sure some people need help, but I'm not going to have my taxes raised so my girlfriends lazy ass dad can sit on his fat ass and get free healthcare. Plain and simple if you want things in your life YOU have to work to get them, and I am not going to carry anyone but my own children. Fuck big government, fuck that bullshit regulation. You folks in Europe may think we're stupid and in the past, but at least i can walk outside with my 1911 in holster saying "FUCK YOU OBAMA". Yeah it sounds hickish, but it's my damn right to do so.
wait, so work always = success?
maybe that's why my father and my mother who worked their asses off... are fucking dirt poor
ok, not everyone is a white upper middle class kid from the suburbs like you.
And you saying all poor people are fat and lazy is so fucking stupid, I can't take you seriously.
and you walking outside with a pistol and yelling fuck you obama makes you weird, not a fucking freedom fighter. Giving stupid people guns ends in disasters. Why do you people act like gun rights is the most important fucking thing in the world.
Most people are poor because they are uneducated or mentally ill, but lots of people live off the system. My girlfriends father is one of them. Quite frankly I wouldn't pay healthcare for them either way, because that doesn't solve the problem. Education and mental care would be the issue.
wow, you met a whole ONE person, you're a fucking expert aren't you?
And saying "FUCK YOU OBAMA" was referencing my freedoms of speech and other such freedoms. Considering that the nazi party is banned in most of Europe (i hate them, but they deserve their right to believe whatever) and lots of explicit games and such are completely censored I think i make my point.
uh, the nazi party is banned in Germany, that's like it... I don't see your point.
"List of countries by intentional homicide rate per year per 100,000 inhabitants for the years from 2000 onwards."
There are approximately 62,041,708 people in england, and there are approximately 308,745,000 people in the united states. Huge population difference. Not to mention things such as drug wars, gang violence, and other such things are not taken into consideration. This is not because of guns, this is because the united states happens to be a vast culmination of cultures with a wide variety of ethnicity and beliefs which happen to clash a majority of the time.
It's not my fault the UK happens to be a majority white similar idealist nation.
look at me, i'm uncle jimmema, I don't fucking know what per capita means hurp
I'm going to let people suffer because no matter what people are going to suffer. If people want help they can go to a charity (something I am willing to put money into), it shouldn't be the governments job to do that.
Healthcare isn't a fucking charity. It's the basic function of a healthy society you tool
Secondly, yes I would rather pump money into education. Education is cheaper then medication and does a lot more than tide a life over. Considering that it cost me $8,000 to have my tonsils removed and approximately the same amount for me to go to college for two years you should be able to see why.
And egads, you're still ignorant. what does this tell me?
and sure, the game thing is just in Germany. But the nazi thing isn't, and there are plenty of other laws enacted by the EU and countries within it that I would consider hindering of rights. When it comes down to it, with few exceptions the countries within Europe do not experience the same level of freedom as America.
Like Sweden, they ban gay marriage, abortion, marijuana, censor their med-
oh wait
I'd rather live in a country where I can't wear a swastika on my arm then a country that bans me from getting married because I so happen to love another man.

He's talking about government run "Healt Insurance" and goverment approved housing and cars. You want to see what his nightmare is? Drawn to Life: The Next chapter (DS) has the perfect example as it's third world. And in that society you need to fill out a form to do ANY THING. Including taking a dump.
