I understand its implications and what it may bring in the future. Maybe I should have been clearer, but I was just wondering what the discussion of intelligence is doing in this thread? Where your earliest ancestors came from and so on. It's really cool. It also links you with your distant relatives. I have 104 cousins on that site. Most of them share the same great-great-great-great grandfather. It's fun as hell. Even got contacted by some of them.

The problem is just that I think we're simplifying extremely complicated matters such as "race" or intelligence. We imagine there's 5 or something "races" and that intelligence is something that can be printed down in numbers. I just get stuck on people that then uses this incredibly simplified view of the human and the world to pass judgement on people. In reality, it is an extremely broad topic that people have been discussing and researching for hundreds of years. You know it's kinda like those physics threads in SH where many users read a title, glances over an article, then spews psuedoscientific nonsense. Exactly the same thing is happening here. And that's what makes me so annoyed.
