Im used to heatwaves of 35c-40c, going to be freezing tomorrow(not literally)
Typical british'ness. Complain when its cold, complain when its hot, I love being British :v: Working in this heat though, even though its pretty low is atrocious. I prefer the winter and mild weather in all honesty. As soon as its above 10C here people start stripping off to tan!
GLOBAL WARMING! - Everyone last year Meanwhile its the coldest month since 1971 here in Holland...
I swear British Summer is always in May then it just goes grey for the next 3 months, then in September it's warm for about 8 days then winter starts.
GLOBAL WARMING! - Everyone last year Meanwhile its the coldest month since 1971 here in Holland...
In Britian we had the coldest March in a century or so.
It was cold and rained all day in my part of Scotland...
HA! Was sunny all day at my bit. Are you on the north-west?
HA! Was sunny all day at my bit. Are you on the north-west?
Up north, Gaelic-speaking area.

It's easier to adapt to cold (for instance putting on more clothes) than to heat. Besides there's nothing more refreshing than walking outside on a winters morning and taking that first refreshing breath of cold air.
yes YES YES
This means my local park will get trashed by college kids. Great...
This means my local park will get trashed by college kids. Great...
Calm down gramps.
how is 19c a heatwave, even in britain?
Because Daily Mail said so
Come to Australia and experience a real heatwave, 40-45c.
All this celcius use is making me dizzy I'm way too used to fahrenheit
It's been around 25-30C where I live for the past few days; today, I went with some friends to grab huge slushies to try to combat the heat. As soon as I paid for mine, I went to grab it off of a shelf it was on and it fell everywhere :(
we had a white easter this year don't forget
Your average spring in the Midwest. :v: Was about 80F Wednesday and it was 50 and raining two days later.
Man in England people freak out over the slightest oddities in the weather. First the snow, now the heat aha
The snow pretty much fucking ruined lambing season dude, it's not a case of "Ha, snow, the weathers shit!" It's a case of fucking shit weather for ages, at times we really shouldn't be having it.
Cold weather is a lot more satifying and easy to adapt to than warm weather. I hate any kind of warm weather.
Vancouver was pretty much constant rain a few weeks ago now it's on average 25-28c spring summer transitions here are crazy
I swear it's like one freaking extreme to the other. (Not that I am complaining in this case)
I'm in Canada Alberta Grande Prairie 28c fuck it's hot upstairs good thing I'm in my basement.
GLOBAL WARMING! - Everyone last year Meanwhile its the coldest month since 1971 here in Holland...
Northern europe gets colder during climate change.
What's that? I can't hear you over my 25c in the shade.
I'm going to be getting 115F/46C during the summer, maybe a few degrees less in the shade. By 9PM-1AM it will still sit around 100 degrees. I will trade you guys heatwaves.
We got around 44-45'c this summer, and now it's winter we're getting your heatwave temperatures and below and it's fucking cold. I don't know how I lived with this when I was over there.

Its crazy, I like the warmth (within reason) but I think I wouldn't be able to bear those temps. I think it has something to do with humidity though, even when its hot (and I mean temps that everyone agrees are at least a bit warm, like 25+) it doesn't get that unpleasant compared to how unpleasant I have been in similar temps in other places in Europe. Weather, its fucking crazy.
Yay warm weather, now I can suffer even worse with my hyperhidrosis!
My haaaaaaaaaands
I'd hate to see these fellas live in Arizona, where in May - August it's typically 102f (38c) during those months. Fortunately for me, it's only 89f/32c right now.
shoot me
It's still snowing over here.
You fuckers should try Singapore 30 degrees Celsius all year round
I live in the desert; 19c is not hot here. You can all shut the fuck up about where you live now and how hot it is compared to Britain because it's all relative. Edit: Well then I guess we'll just use this thread as a "where do you live" fast-thread then. No one cares.
Sweden's warm as well. Gonna be around 20c out today, and sunny! A shame, though. I really liked my winter coat. [editline]6th May 2013[/editline]
GLOBAL WARMING! - Everyone last year Meanwhile its the coldest month since 1971 here in Holland...
That's now how global warming works It's a bit of a misleading name, it's not only raised temperatures, it's generally the weather being extreme.
