What an egomaniac.
Swedish rape classifications are bullshit, it's no wonder Sweden is considered as the "rape capital of the world".
Yeah, why would it possibly be considered rape to have sex with someone who is unconscious, I can't think of any reasons.
I'm fucking ashamed of our law system.
Swedish rape classifications are bullshit, it's no wonder Sweden is considered as the "rape capital of the world".
The reason it's "the rape capital of the world", is because women there, actually report the crimes. Rape is the most under-reported violent crime. It's good that women actually want to prosecute their attackers.

I'm not saying their definition is wrong but it's the main reason for the higher rape count there
Swedish rape classifications are bullshit, it's no wonder Sweden is considered as the "rape capital of the world".
Not really, our legislation is great. But it's open for abuse, and clearly these women/the prosecutor are exploiting it. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline]
The problem is that Sweden apparently has a strange law that lets people withdraw consent (Someone with a better understanding of this could explain better I guess) and then file rape charges.
What are you talking about

Julian Assange: Total Bro
well the having sex with asleep thing Is kind of weird. But I wouldn't call it rape.
well the having sex with asleep thing Is kind of weird. But I wouldn't call it rape.
Really what would you think if you woke up with Julian Assange inside you?
So you guy's messiah is a rapist and you're all fine with that
That's some sexy irony.
Really what would you think if you woke up with Julian Assange inside you?
I would freak. But then I would be able to say to my kids the now ruler of the world Assange took my innocence. But apparently she didnt freak she just let him do it.
What are you talking about
This is what is being reported on the news constantly in the UK, I have been a bit sceptical about it. I am guessing it was started by an English journalist trying to make sense of a law that isn't in a language they speak. They have been reporting that the women gave Assange consent (as long as he used a condom) and then decided the next day that she did not consent. Perhaps it is just dumb journalists (I mean it does seem to be that it was on consensual if he used a condom, and as he didn't it wasn't consensual).
:psyduck: Who thought that'd be a good idea? That's worse than teenagers in America "not being ready" and then turning around and calling it rape.
my freind is in that exact situation right now
People could be too embarressed to say that they were raped at first. If you don't understand why someone would feel this way then you're most likely an aspie Assange is a scumbag. Deal with it.
This lets anyone who's ever had sex put their ex-partner who they might have a grudge on in jail at any time just because they don't like the person anymore. GJ

Oh shit I woke my girlfriend up like that a couple of mornings ago as a joke.
Is it easy to start having sex with someone when they are sleeping without waking them up? I can't really imagine it is.
Still is pretty fucking weird that he fucked a sleeping girl...
He fucked a girl while she was sleeping. That's rape right there buddy.
This is what is being reported on the news constantly in the UK, I have been a bit sceptical about it. It's word against word, as always. There have been numerous sexual abuse cases in which the woman eventually admitted that the rape was actually consensual sex and she was simply too embarrased to admit it (like the recent case with the nun http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/8205058/nun-faked-rape-to-cover-up-consensual-sex). As for what's being reported, well.. you having sex with someone doesn't mean you suddenly have their consent to put your penis in them whenever you feel like it, right? Especially when they're asleep? Perhaps if you're in a relationship there's a mutual understanding, but they weren't in one.
Oh shit I woke my girlfriend up like that a couple of mornings ago as a joke.
you're fucked
Julian Assange isn't a genius for wikileaks, but for looking so damn ugly and still getting laid on a regular basis. Though I guess that's why he moved from Australia to Sweden where everybody looks albino.
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the US and Sweden are trying to arrest him for rape while the US are trying to redefine rape in a way that would make what Assange did legal.
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the US and Sweden are trying to arrest him for rape while the US are trying to redefine rape in a way that would make what Assange did legal.
One lawmaker =/= the US
as you can see, facepunch is so sexually inexperienced it doesn't realize that this is a much more common behaviour than you seem to think of it as now. My girlfriends fucked me while I was asleep and woke me up, I know of guys who've done this to their girlfriends, and honestly, it's not that weird if you're with your partner. However, assange did it to some random chick who let him keep fucking her. It's not rape. It's just a little weird.
He fucked a girl while she was sleeping. That's rape right there buddy.
Unless of course she says its ok.
Unless of course she says its ok.
But how could she if she was sleeping.
