People just don't know how to have fun. Who cares if its dumb. You're a fool for getting upset and behaving like a child. It's not as if they're butchering these songs either, they're just mostly pretty minimalistic covers with pizza lyrics. It's certainly not offensive to hear.
But they sound terrible.
But they sound terrible.
Then oh well! I think they sound fine. They're not the greatest sounding band, a lot of it seems like a lazy joke, but it is musical and very reminiscent of the original songs so it really isn't all that bad.
http://pitchfork.com/news/55328-macaulay-culkins-the-pizza-underground-booed-off-stage-pelted-with-beer/ Edit is fucking up
To be fair they sound horrible. I've heard better sounding high school garage bands. You can be a shit band all you want but when you call yourself a 'velvet underground tribute band' then you're setting the bar high and people are going to boo you.
They aren't even good or funny in an ironic way. It's just shit. Oh god it's all shit.
Instead of doing covers they should do a metalocalypse styled over-the-top death metal song about pizza and friendship.
people who throw shit at gigs are the worst
The Pizza Underground is amazing how do you guys not find that shit hilarious It's the fucking Home Alone kid singing about pizza
Home Alone Macaulay Culkin died when Party Monster Macaulay Culkin was born.
this reminds me of the time some people tried to defend the people who fucked up death grips' instruments after they couldn't make it to a show
