Apart from the horrible things this will be used for, this could actually be used in very cool ways. Civ games with each player having his face mocapped to the leader, or in Hearts of Iron you could be Hitler/Stalin/Churchill/Whoever. Also Dota2 could have that, especially considering you see the other players hero portrait when they kill you. Can't wait to be creeped the fuck out by a Lina doing suggestive faces while you can hear the wheezing overweight neckbeard behind that mask over the mic.

I'm actually rather surprised it's taken this long to get a proper live rigged cap program like this to the public again, back in ~2002 I had a piece of software that let me use photos of a person's head to texture and shape a head model, or rig the control points to an existing model, then use video (live or recorded) to control and match audio to the animation. It'd export that data out for 3ds max, was awesome but we lost the install for it eventually, and never found something that quite fit the flavor

There's no way the stuff from the camera is actually good enough to not have the model behave weirdly when applied as-is.
