Basically, a bunch of web-illiterate 40-year-olds trying to get web-culture
I pretty much have no problem with 4chan. I don't like Pedobear, but thats about it
The fact they are anonymous tells me that they are cowards. It really easy to be offenive when you can hide in your mums house. The Lizard, UK
:v:
Funny part is its real people with unrestricted honesty, that's who people really are. Here people aren't as honest about themselves so what you get is social constrictions. You don't understand the world or its inhabitants.
Yeah, pretty much this. Because of the anonymity, 4chan brings out the true sides of people.
That better than Sherlock Holmes thing was rather hilarious. Sometimes 4chan does funny things, most of their time is wasted on stupid shit like Scientology.
It's like a gritty anti-hero it is the savior in some cases then the devil again in others
To sum up 4chan in a superhero form: Deadpool
Working together to corrupt the internet. We are anonymous. We are legion.
Ugh, I hate kids who talk like this. They probably think 4chan is some super secret club.
The "we are legion lulz" crew is the worst of them all.
/b/ is like Narnia, it's full of odd creatures and sometimes people stumble into it, become it's leader in the process.
/b/ is like Narnia, it's full of odd creatures and sometimes people stumble into it, become it's leader in the process.
It's like Narnia except all of the creatures are trying to rate eachother's dicks 90% of the time.
4chan is a place I avoid at all times. Yet it has every reason to exist and it should be allowed to exist.
I hate the whole "we are anonymous, we are legion" over-dramatized bullshit. In fact, that whole "epic" comment is bullshit imo. The only reason all these nerds on 4chan can "express" themselves freely is because they are all anonymous to one another and to the rest of the internet, and don't feel the shame and embarrassment of acting like a bunch of 12 year old hooligans that they would if they did so in real life so exceptionally.
I personally have no problem with 4chan, or /b/ to be more specific. I don't browse 4chan and I'm aware that /b/ does a lot of stupid shit, but I love the pranks they pull.
What a bunch of lowlifes! This is a prime example of why national service should be introduced - keep the toerags busy and doing something a little more worthwhile to help the community!
Damn toerags :argh:
Ananymous is ananymous.
Lolcats - images of anthropomorphic felines
Anthromorphic? since when?
According to this article normal cats are anthromorphic?
stop spelling it as "anthromorphic", it is spelled "Anthropomorphic" and there is a lot of furry shit on /b/
Source:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-10520487
You mean sauce right? :smug:
I really like /b/ when it becomes a detective. The memes mostly suck, but there's nothing like watching a community find out exactly who someone is and then outing them. <motivational pic>
Hahaha that guy got pwned bigtime
Ugh. You know, boards like /x/, /v/, /lit/, and /o/ can be very cool places to go, which is to say only a few. /b/ is just a bunch of 15 year olds trying to pretend they're badass, and that they've been on the site longer than others, as if that means anything. It's disappointing that 4chan is always thought of in that light.
I go to /WG/ sometimes to get backgrounds. Assholes and idiots as they maybe, they are awesome with photoshop.
Oh wow, the BBC doing a filler story on 4chan. Stop the presses. [editline]03:19AM[/editline]
Anthromorphic? since when?
Since they talked and rode bicycles. [editline]03:19AM[/editline] And played piano.
Working together to corrupt the internet. We are anonymous. We are legion.
If I ever hear someone say this in real life I will spit in their face.
Epic comment:
don't do that [editline]10:11PM[/editline]
What a bunch of lowlifes! This is a prime example of why national service should be introduced - keep the toerags busy and doing something a little more worthwhile to help the community!
The best way to give to the community is by advocating what is essentially slavery.
Most who have posted under the "Anonymous" name sound a bit pretentious to me. "Working together to corrupt the internet. We are anonymous. We are legion." Get a grip of yourself for God's sake. You're hardly changing the world are you? For the record I find most of this 4chan business funny, but it sounds to me like they take themselves more seriously than they think!
This is the comment that should be in the OP.
If I ever hear someone say this in real life I will spit in their face.
People likely won't say that in real life except when around other /b/tards. I mean, you don't spew random Facepunch memes when you're out with other people, do you?
People likely won't say that in real life except when around other /b/tards. I mean, you don't spew random Facepunch memes when you're out with other people, do you?
to be honest I don't really want to spit in anyone's face anyway
That better than Sherlock Holmes thing was rather hilarious. Sometimes 4chan does funny things, most of their time is wasted on stupid shit like Scientology.
I wouldn't really call that "stupid shit". It's a tax scam (amongst other things), which people wouldn't have discovered if the mass hatred towards it hadn't got into the news.
people hated Scientology way before those chanology fags.
