Well if it's well made and not overly stylized then I don't see a problem.

I honestly wouldn't care as long as it is made by good artists. Western artists tend to fuck the anime style up, badly.

I don't honestly think they'll screw this up. Remember that RvB Halo animation? That was corny and cliche as hell, but it wasn't bad. Hell, all of Halo is corny and cliche, but it isn't terrible. I think this will be fine. And Microsoft isn't an idiot, they won't have kawaii~ grunts shooting rainbows out of their nipples every time they see the Master Chief

Wow. I don't think a halo anime series would "work..." I think a lot of you are being very close minded. Just because something is anime-styled, doesn't mean it is instantly horrible. That doesn't mean it's instantly great, either.

I'm no Halo fan, but the games were enjoyable. And normally do I despise anime, as long as this doesn't go with anime styles of say Gundam Seed or something and more to something like Batman: Gotham Knight then I'm okay with it. I just hope to God they don't have those anime cliches like leaping in the air (frozen scene) screaming then smash/slash or whatnot. Just the small stupid antics that animes seem to have. Oh and they better not give the characters dagger-tip hair like a lot of animes. /rant

Everybody's treating this like it's the end of Halo. Then again, nobody around here seems to be able to tell the difference between Lucky Star and Fist of the North Star.
