It technically is a cartoon. I'm going on the assumption that this isn't likely to have Japanese audio... and the reason why they got Japanese studios to do it is because Japanese studios actually work on whatever they're doing instead of just crapping out episode after episode of garbage. Granted, there are exceptions, but they're generally limited to generic shonen series. Which is why I'm worried about Toei Animation's offering.

It looks meh. It should be made like FLAG. Ultra realistic art styling and such and done from the POV of a foot soldier or war journalist. Why do these fuckers always have to be after a Spartan? They're going to run out of them after long. I find it sort of disturbing how much the art style changes in so little time. First it goes from Dr Sues rip off animation, to highly detailed and sturdy, then overly cartoony, and of course to 3D.

And in most of them it's all about this, forcing that teen shit down your throat in way too many cases.
