Pink Scotti's over complicates the menu in my opinion. It does looks nice though.
I don't think Garry is bothering with changing the menu any more anyway.
I prefer Grimezy15's for the simplicity.
Garry has just told me that he isn't interested in changing the menu anymore himself, but he'll make it Lua based to allow developers to change the menu.

I prefer MyndPhreak's. Simple, yet stylish. A certain level of elegance in a minimalistic form. It doesn't try to overwhelm you, but it doesn't leave anything out. And the addition of a News Ticker is actually a really good idea. Means that people don't constantly have to come here to receive news or rely on the sparse and uninformative nature of the Steam Updates.

some of the ones in the OP seemed cool and all but a bit confusing. Like the complicated backgrounds.

HereSince2004's is my favourite. It looks like it fits into a sandbox game and it's not a boring menu
Scotti's is easily the best one I've seen. Something about HereSince's is lacking.
