That aside, let me address something that's been bothering me since the Maidan protests. This isn't necessarily directed at you, bravehat, but instead is directed at everyone who regularly posts in Sensationalist Headlines.

It pisses me off how anything Karimatrix says is automatically wrong and dumb to some people. Yeah, he's argued some questionable things before and I think if you ask him "looking at it from my perspective, would you think you were crazy too?" he'd probably say "yes, I believe that I would feel as you do." It's not like he's a bad guy just because he's Russian, and it's not just with him either. I've been rated winner and informative and nobody's given me shit for posting essentially the exact same shit as Karimatrix, MuffinZerg, or any other Russian Facepuncher has said in other threads. One time I literally copy-pasted something and corrected the grammar and spelling just to see if I would get the same negative reaction. I didn't. I've seen them get bombed to hell and back with dumbs and negative comments and other stupid shit for something as simple as [i]explaining why Russians act the way they do[/i] without expressing an opinion either way. It's almost like they need to make up for being dirty Russians, which is bullshit and whenever I see an American jump down their throats I [i]know[/i] they've had to defend themselves from that same type of silly shit. I know this because I've had to make my arguments extra watertight because some people just hate Americans, why I don't know. Most of the rudest people are from the Netherlands or Sweden or some other "nice and friendly" country.

I'm not saying the Netherlands or Sweden are specifically designated as nice and/or friendly, or that Dutch or Swedish people have to be friendly or nice. I picked those two countries because I've been told by both Dutch and Swedish people that their countries are nice and friendly and they're very progressive.
