Anti-Trump demonstrators set fires, break windows in California

I don't know why Californians are advocating rioting, we were majorly against Trump. It isn't going to do anything since the things being destroyed will have nothing to do with him. Apparently there's going to be a vote for Californian independence in 2019 or something? Why riot? Just support that cause as it'll actually take place during Trump's term and we can actually decide if the country is going to shit rather than just fear mongering.
Violence isn't the answer here.
Not as bad as what trumps up porters would do if she won

This is the crock of shit mindset that cost Hillary the election (along with her just being horrible in general).
You people stopped trying to sway moderates by explaining your position and point of view, and instead made personal attacks on many people's character just because they happened to disagree if Clinton was a better candidate. But no, there are no such thing as moderates who may have been just slightly leaning towards Trump because they figured both candidates were equally terrible but in different ways. Black and white, all Trump supporters are "bigoted anarchist retards" because fuck you I want to feel superior and have the moral high ground!
At one point I was considering going with Clinton even though everyone I knew was either going with Trunp or just not voting at all; but a sizable portion of the users on here were constantly shitting on anyone who didn't have a raging hateboner for Trump, and would make very broad and offensive generalizations of people. (Wow that seems to be a reoccurring trend lately)
I'm sure as hell not convinced that going with Clinton would have been a good decision when so many of her supporters are so casually insulting my friends and family by extension of those offensive generalizations. If anything, I was convinced by you people that voting for Clinton would be an objectively wrong choice since so many people supporting her are more toxic than she is.
But hey what do I know? I must be some retarded anarchist bigot for not disliking a certain candidate far enough.
This is what arrogance has cost you. Not specifically directed to the person I'm quoting but you should know who you are by now. You will never win over people's support by insulting them.

No what you are is a thin-skinned hypocrite who saw mean words on the internet and abstained from voting you apparently agreed with because those mean posts made you feel bad on the inside.
California's not going to be leaving. It's even dumber than the idea of Texas leaving

I thought the same about Brexit and Trump, yet here we are.

It has the 4th largest economy in the world.
California would be so fucked it wouldn't even be funny. They'd immediately have most of their energy needs basically locked down by Arizona/Nevada, who control the Hoover Dam, and would have their remaining water coming from the Colorado River being cut-off completely or forced to be paid for.
Seriously, California cannot at this time and day make it on it's own.
I thought the same about Brexit and Trump, yet here we are.
it's 2016 for little less than two months
start working
I thought the same about Brexit and Trump, yet here we are.
Yeah but those two weren't literally illegal
If California were to try, what makes you think Trump would even allow it. Also, there's still no evidence that even a sizable amount of Californians want to leave, as of right now it's a lot like us Texans where a few people make a bunch of noise that the internet picks up every once in awhile. Trump and Brexit were always possible polls-wise, they were both just unlikely
It's funny how people are all for peace and love until things don't go their way. It's like this election showed what people are really like, regardless of political affiliation.
You mean like the Trump supporters that sincerely believed the election was rigged and threatened a revolt/civil war if Trump lost, the likes of which would've caused more damage to the country than a relative handful of twats rioting or even Trump's presidency?
babies on suicide watch 2016.
best election.
I can understand the frustration, America is about to go back to the stone age. This is how I felt when that moron Abbott was elected.

Did you miss the part where he said "regardless of political affiliation"?
Good. A revolt is needed. This election has been utter shit and it ended even worse.
Remember when the media was crucifying Trump for even implying he would contest the results of the election? lmao
Did you miss the part where he said "regardless of political affiliation"?
I did not, just thought I'd bring it up for those who forgot.
Remember when the media was crucifying Trump for even implying he would contest the results of the election? lmao
As has been noted many times, Coyoteze is a Swede posting on an obscure video game forum. Donald Trump was the Republican nominee for president. He also "implied" jack shit but outright said he wouldn't accept the results if he didn't win. Don't be dishonest.
There's an anti-Trump riot going down in Chicago.
There's an anti-Trump riot going down in Chicago.
Protestors are out in New York as well. The stream on FB had 61,000+ viewers last time I checked it.
Of course it's California.
As someone not living in the US, I feel people say this about every state whenever something happens there
"Of course it's *State*"
Oh man, I'm gonna need more popcorn for this.
Keep it up, autism degree needs to be higher. :v:
By the way, did you know that law enforcement has to respond to ensure civilians safety? Because some retards are rioting for no reason and thinking that damaging and burning someone's property is a good idea and not a crime. I'd imagine that there's gonna be more cries "omg fascist police state regime" after police will have to step in to protect citizens from deranged psychos. :goodjob:
Europe has its own little rivalries and international prejudices between its countries, America has those too for states
I've always thought European squabbles were pretty funny just because as an American I'm really not that in tune with the little stereotypes and jokes Europeans make about each other. I have a friend that is German and occasionally shares little digs at other countries for very specific issues and its always kind of funny because of how arbitrary it seems to an outsider.

As much as I hate California, I might stay here if this goes through.
No what you are is a thin-skinned hypocrite who saw mean words on the internet and abstained from voting you apparently agreed with because those mean posts made you feel bad on the inside.
Thanks for proving my point.

As silly as it sounds, I think Cali might be the only state in the U.S that has the economy to actually be its own country, but I seriously doubt that will happen. But I guess Trump won
California wouldn't be able to survive if it seceded but that doesn't stop the threat/attempt of doing so from sending a pretty heavy message.

I insist, the problem with this "burn the house down and rebuild it" approachs is that everyone is in the house.
