Because a 332 pound mass difference is going to matter when a heavy object on wheels is going to run you over.
It is if one object is 332 pounds and the other is 0. :eng101:
:eng101:
Just accept the loss, there is no definition of heavy object. So 333 and 1, there happy?
I don't frigging blame them for not wanting to take chances. You got a vehicle that is your weight x2 or more, coming at you, you better be fast as shit on your feet to get out of the way and hope he doesn't steer that way, or you can open fire, hope you strike them then get out of the way.
X2? Try x8/10 and up. I'd be fucking terrified if I was one of the cops. If he wasn't driving towards me, I'm sure the kid would hurt someone else down the road, if you consider how the more dangerous chases end. [editline]14th February 2012[/editline]
Did the kid ever shoot back? Seems a bit excessive to shoot a car driving away. It means he's going to make it, but if his life support systems fail he's toast.
Call me a cynical cunt, but I'd rather seriously injure a teenager rather than letting him drive off with the chance of hitting a car with a family or a pedestrian. Both the kid and everyone around is better off this way. If the kid was dumb enough to run away from a cop with a gun, telling him to stop, I'm sure he could have done quite a lot of damage during the chase.
