So the Guardians logic is if you play video games you must be a psychotic serial rapist that hates women?
Damn that's exactly who I am.
It should be banned for being a terrible game. If they want to make a rape game, they should make a game about how the Russians raped the Germans in WW2. Now that's a game you can fap and think with... also ifap http://www.ifap.ed.gov/ifap/
How 'bout these same person stop to turn a deaf ear to the muslims girls and women. They are more in need of getting their rights protected....
Rapelay is a bad game Your dick is a long skin-tone cylinder I wish they had a patch for that
I've played rapelay (for the deep plot of coarse) and it isn't as bad as some games on the market. It is just being targeted like GTA always is.
As fucked up as this game is, it should be treated as any other game. Do I think it should of been made? Of course not, but take into account that some people might like this and it may act as a deterrent for those who commit these terrible acts, but that isn't likely because the people who commit rape aren't doing it for the sexual side of it. These are fucked up individuals who are as far from being human as you can get, but if this game is the effect of one less rape crime being committed, it was worth it. Do I think that this game should be banned? No. The individual has the ability to ask themselves "Should I pick up this game called RapeLay" without the government getting involved.
I keep imagining RapeLay as a Wii game where you play by making the specific motions with the Wiimote. Is this just me?
These threats are harmless. I'm pretty sure the players of such games as RapeLay are fat 13-16 year old kids who has no social life whatsoever, they depend on this game to feel powerful for once in their pathetic life. these guardian dudes have noting to fear.
:siren: THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL ARTICLE :siren: ALSO IT WAS WRITTEN BY A WOMAN Well, there we go, now nobody can complain that the guardian's no good.

Kermode often speaks like his head has gone up his own arse and out his mouth again, but he's also quite a good critic
My organisation, Equality Now, has heard a lot from the fans of some of these games. We highlighted the game RapeLay, produced in Japan, as one example of many that promote violence against women.
And here, this is the problem with feminism nowadays. The only feminist groups that get noticed nowadays are the groups that specifically focus on "protecting" women at the expense of both genders' freedom of speech and expression, rather than those that focus on gaining rights for women that men already have and eliminating prejudices against them. Particularly ironic is that the idea that "one must protect a woman from harm and degradation" is the very ideology that kept women behind for so long.
Why would you want to play a rape game? That's terrible.
Reminds me of those articles on the mass effect "rape simulator".
no RapeLay is a rape simulator It even has Rape in its title
The NSPCC for example reported in September that a third of teenage girls in a relationship suffer unwanted sexual acts (including rape) and a quarter physical violence such as being slapped, punched or beaten by their boyfriends.
The RapeLay community reported in September that zero percent of the players are in a relationship.
I'm currently listening to We're from America, Marilyn Manson. I think that is relevant to this thread.
Equality Now

as one example of many that promote violence against women
So violence against men is right, eh? Equality my ass.
Provide and option for Rapex.
The article reminds me of Jack Thompson.
I'm currently listening to We're from America, Marilyn Manson. I think that is relevant to this thread.
You dunno how to interpret songs boy.......that song has almost nothing of relevance with the thread. Also, Rapelay is so 2006.......why are people STILL bitching about it?!
Wait, does RapeLay have voice acting?
for authenticity's sake they actually recorded the lead designer raping a woman and her children
MoCap haha
Don't those people know that rape is like saying hello in Japan?
Konichiwa!
How 'bout these same person stop to turn a deaf ear to the muslims girls and women. They are more in need of getting their rights protected....
And neglect the rights of CG videogame girls?
Oh, the Guardian. That explains a lot. Before someone yells at me, I read the news from BBC and Reuters-Thomson, I'd say they're both at least fairly unbiased.
