people kill people, but guns make it easy
The stats for the other countries include their major cities too. The UK is at 1.2 including London, Manchester, etc. I bet if you took all those cities out it'd be even lower too, who would have guessed. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] No. That's unintentional homicide. I don't know if you understand this, but the purpose of self defense isn't to kill someone. Care to provide a source on this. lol
Sources are in the video description. But I have a feeling you won't watch it anyway.
You guys in the UK have a serious issue on your hands. If your people start finding out they can have tanks, you might have a full scale civilian war on your hands. It would be worse than all the massacres in america combined.
Please, Senate. Eat a dick. No one is going to kill anyone with a M1 Carbine.
If you have a weak stomach don't watch that shit. M1 Carbine, though But I agree. 3% of all gun related crimes are with these 'assault weapons.' If they really cared they'd go for handguns. Knee Jerk reactions by uneducated tarts that I wouldn't trust running a drive-through. It's like you can't conceal a Glock 27, but you can conceal an AR-15, which is why so many people rob and shoot people with AR-15s! Even still, out of 320,000,000 guns in this country owned legally and responsibly, they're having a war on the 30,000 or so used to kill (More than half of which are suicides rather than murders)
Straw sales are only illegal if the person the straw purchaser is lied about, as in, putting in a false name, or if the person cannot legally own a firearm in any way. You can buy a gun for almost anyone, provided that you don't lie about anything, and they aren't a convicted felon or any such thing.
From the form you have to fill out to buy a gun:
nvm late.

Notice how people only started talking about an assault weapons ban when an assault weapon was used to kill a bunch of kids? How congress only starts talking about legislation when it turns into a political tool, and not BEFORE it becomes a problem? And how we represent the entire issue of gun control and crime in america by a few psychopath murderers rather than everyday robbery kind of crime? Nobody notices when Jay-rome and tay-shawn get shot in some gang related killing but when a single dude with an assault rifle kills a bunch of innocent kids, then we start caring
great argument for why we shouldn't have laws at all i guess [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] rapists gonna rape burglars gonna burgle why bother
Guns are far from being the only broad category of weapons that are used in murders so that's a totally fallacious argument. For an extreme example, you wouldn't try to cut down on burglaries by banning crowbars, would you? Just because a prying tool of some sort might happen to be used in a good number of home burglaries doesn't mean banning crowbars would be an effective means of stopping burglaries.
