It probably won't help him in court. "oh yeah the operator told me not to chase down that kid but I did it anyway and boy am I red in the face"
If I'm his lawyer I'd object to that question, the jury won't be able to consider it. Why? Because it has no relevance, there is no law or rule stating anyone has to listen to the operator.
I wonder if Zimmerman was drug tested. Alcohol influences one's actions to be much more violent than marijuana's influence. Also, I hate when drug is used as plural. Marijuana is one drug, there were not drugs in his system, there was one drug.
The police didn't drug test him.

You said there was an explicit "do not follow" rule in that neighborhood watch booklet. I saw no such thing and I asked you where you got that information. Why are you now posting random, irrelevant articles that have nothing to do with what we were talking about and telling me I don't understand how to read?
Also that article does not say anything about a "do not follow" rule, it says not to physically engage a suspect. According to Zimmerman's story, he did not engage Trayvon Martin and he was attacked from behind.
holy shit guys quit smoking weed or you'll end up like this guy
It lowers your inhibitions. I can see this as not being ultimately helpful in stopping a kid with an attitude problem from attacking someone...
lowers your inhibitions? you think it's easier trying to attack someone when you're high then when you're not?
