Operation Darknet was a good one though...
[editline]bla[/editline]
What anonymous can is sometimes mindblowing.
Umm yeah you should. I know that sounds dramatic but the world isn't some safe haven, there's shit to look out for and to try and prevent from happening.
He said 'shouldn't'. What the world should be and what it is are two separate things.
New law: rapists should have a penectomy without anasthetic, get evicted and have all of their posessions given to the victim and be put in a million dollar debt to the victim and the state.
Fuckheads will regret ever pushing their dicks into some unconscious woman.
What about people who are falsely convicted
What about people who are falsely convicted
That's why stupid ideas like that aren't what actually happens in reality.

Wen you get right down to it, they're still assholes. Just assholes being pointed in the right direction. :v:
Dont really know about Anon although I know they have a iffy past.
This is what I imagine they should be (if they have to be). Using there power to shit over the bastards of the world.
If someone is to attempt any sort of rape/similar level of assault, mentally or physically they have absolutely no defence. Even putting them into a live remake of the Saw films would be justifiable.

There are also numerous mid-range actions such as many hacks and such where it is hard to say whether what they have done is good or bad. Anonymous is an amorphic entity that basically anyone and everyone can claim adherence to.
Some residents and others on social media blamed the girl, saying she put the football team in a bad light and put herself in a position to be violated.
fuCK YOU

people sometimes ask me if I'm an anon. I ask them what they think Anonymous is.

Wait I rated agree for the first part of your post, then I saw the sentence at the end.
Rated useful instead.
Now, more to the point, I share the sentiments from most of the other posters. I don't even need to say that the rapists are disgusting examples of humanity, and that Anonymous is completely in the right. They seem to be finally turning into a force of good.
Dam man if the world was Fallout New Vegas I'd have no idea what Anonymous' reputation would be at

they always seem to dredge a crack squad of detectives out of the cesspool that is /b/ though.
stuff about rape just makes my stomach churn - moreso than murder stories for some odd reason.
hope these sick fucks get exactly what's coming for them, if any of these footballers leave this situation without being recognized as sex offenders i'll be very disappointed

Probably because you know at the end of a murder there's no lasting trauma on the victim given the nature of death.
Not even one percent of the blame is on the girl. Even if you get black-out drunk, what you should expect is to maybe be carried home by some friends or that alike. Yeah, the world isn't safe, but that doesn't mean that you have any responsibility when it comes to some other guy's illegal actions.

uh no how about 100% of the blame goes on the people who raped somebody.

No, 100% of the blame can go on them.

What the fuck is the matter with you?
Call me an asshole but I never understood this argument. If I went walking down the streets of Philadelphia wearing a suit literally made of $100 bills I strongly doubt you'd be saying 'it's 100% not your fault you got mugged' when the inevitable happens. I might not have caused my mugging, and nothing I did excuses the muggers' actions and they should still go to jail, but I knowingly put myself in a bad position and that at least is my fault.
If you put yourself in a bad situation, bad things can happen. She didn't deserve to be raped, being unconscious at a party doesn't excuse the actions of these men in the slightest, but for a girl to get blackout drunk at a party full of people she doesn't know is a very bad idea.
The guilty pay the price. Godspeed, Internet.
STOP this planet, I want to get off!
This is true. If you're female and you pass out at a party that has people you don't know, you're at risk. If you know the people there and they're all friends then you are usually safe but it's no guarantee.
Actually, for females, over 50% or 60% of rapes are from personal friends/family rather than from strangers...
Go anonymous!

First rule of rape is never blame the victim.
And with your example, it's still not your fault. Those bills are yours to do whatever you want with. I could fill an inflatable pool with dollar bills and invite you to roll in it for fun, but if you take some home, you stole from me. That's 100% on you.
Blacking out means you've just had too much, don't know your limits, or think you're with friends who you're safe with. It means "I made a bad decision to keep drinking and my body can't handle it," which to any normal person means "She needs help" not "oh, cool, it's fine if I rape her and pass her around to my friends."
I get where the argument comes from, but people need to understand that opportunity does not give you license. Rape is illegal, so this shouldn't be an argument at all just based on that alone in my opinion.
disgusting victim blaming all up in this bitch
hope these dudes get what's comin to em

Nobody is fucking blaming victims here, or proclaiming anyone has license, we just think it's real fuckin stupid that we're not allowed to damn advise people against getting black-out drunk at parties.

That one Facepuncher said that 1% of blame is on the victim, he's blaming the victim.
You have no idea how fucking dumb it is to blame a victim of RAPE even if it's just a small amount of blame.
Oh wah, let's avoid telling someone how to not get raped because if she does we'll have to say she's 1% responsible.

I agree entirely, but like I said, it's not about blaming the victim for the crime itself, it's blaming the victim for getting into a situation that made her more vulnerable to begin with, and the same applies to pretty much any crime.
Like in my example, I have every right to go walk down the street covered in money. If you beat me up and steal it, it's still theft, I wasn't 'asking for it' nor was I encouraging you to steal it. You still committed a crime, and you still should pay for it. But did I contribute in some way by deciding to walk down the street covered in money? Was it a bad idea, and should I have known better? I think so.
Blaming the victim for the crime is an awful thing, where it is somehow implied that the victim caused the attacker(s) to attack them. That's never justified. But blaming the victim for voluntarily being in a situation that made it easier for the attacker(s) to perform the attack seems reasonable to me, yet with rape cases it seems utterly taboo. Why is that? In my hypothetical mugging example, I don't think anyone would have a problem saying that I was an idiot for getting in a situation where I could be easily mugged. Why the double standard?

Basically another form of the dumb argument: "Since she dressed slutty, she kinda asked to be raped."
