What is a VAT?
value-added tax
Now it's scrapped, us Cornish have to find something else to complain about.
What is a VAT?
A tax that goes on most products that aren't considered essential to survival. Adds 17.5% more to the price and goes to the government.
No, pasties:
That looks amazing.
Pasties are awesome. Not Greggs pasties, they are garbage and are pre-made/frozen in a factory and pumped full of fat/sugar/salt (And are a contributor to the growing obesity problem here, along with the other fast food outlets) You can get some really amazing pasties from a proper bakery, I went to the Cornish Bakehouse in Cardiff and they do huge and delicious pasties that use good meat and are very filling and satisfying.
