yeah sooner or later we're gonna have to stop blaming bush for everything obama fucks up im not saying that policies intermix (obama's still carrying some out, e.g. pacific interaction), but that line often gets bandied about. it's significantly more complicated a situation than purely "george bush ruined american politics"

For one, if someone burned an effigy of any political figure, it will generally be seen as an outrageous and stupid stunt. When someone here posts "They should've burned [political figure x]'s effigy instead" they likely mean it as a joke. And for two, Obama is still better then Bush, mostly thanks to the part that the bar was set so low by Bush that a fucking monkey would be better then him.

i dunno. burning effigies of anyone is an unhealthy mental practice to take part in, given that killing a human is never good.
