If anybody was wondering, MGS V will run fine on pretty bad hardware.

I am well below the minimum requirements and can run the game on a mix of high and medium settings.
You wouldn't happen to have tested Assassin's Creed Unity on this rig ?
I have the same CPU, only I have an HD 4870 2gb GPU, I'm wondering if that would be worth it to upgrade the GPU and get a better CPU later on or if that would be pointless.
do you know if that game is as good as the first rome total war? i know it was a little rough at release, but apparently it's better now
It's good now, the emperor edition is how the game should have been released
Anyone know if AvP 2010 is worth it? I've seen very mixed reactions but I like the franchise, and I already have AvP Classic 2000.
In my opinion it's a no. Single player was remarkably boring for all 3 of the races, story is absolute rubbish, tries to be more in depth than it needed to be. Multiplayer was also poor and died shortly after it came out. It's not as bad as Colonial Marines which isn't saying much, but it still misses the mark by a huge margin. Save your money for something else.

Nah, I don't like Assassin's Creed, sorry. I personally haven't had any issues running anything with my setup (except somewhat low FPS in Evil Within), but MGS is probably the most demanding game I've tried. Your video card is better than mine anyway.
I got a $50 prepaid visa I could use to buy something, but I'm waiting to see if Far Cry 4 goes on sale before I use it.

Steam Reviews are your friend
Anyone else think this sale feels a bit lazy? Not in terms of the actual discounts, those are great, but it seems like not as much work has been put into it as previous sales. There's usually some unique rewards for games you can get by participating in the activities (other than a badge and the backgrounds), but this time there's none of that. I thought there's usually art for specific games each day as well (although not sure if those are normally in the winter Sale, but the summer one has them at least and so did the fall sale) and the art that is there just seems a bit bland and doesn't do much to make the page look any better - It feels like just one big wall of games. Last years art wasn't the best either but it was better than what this year has:

Maybe i'm just remembering them wrong but i thought the Flash sales weren't every 12 hours in previous years, and the community choice definitely wasn't every 24 hours. Steam sales feel very inconsistent.
I'm not saying the sale is bad, just to me everything except the discounts doesn't seem quite as good as usual.
does anyone know if broforce is at the lowest itll be right now? i have no idea if it was a flash sale or whatever if itll go any lower

The art on the store page seems to get more boring and empty every year, I remember when a sale ended and the default page looked so dull in comparison but now you can't even tell because it looks exactly the same all the time
The mashup drawings of all the daily sales every day was the best one, like the saints row 3 pimp santa claus
Got a bunch of copies of Bad Rats for my friends.
Dick Slamfist is getting two copies.
Is anyone else having problems checking out? I put the games into my cart, and when I go to my cart, they have disappeared.

Generally, when a game goes daily deal / flash sale / whatever, all the other games in the franchise get discounted as well. I thought this was known?
Man, Fable anniversary being $20 NOW shows that they charged way, way, way too much for it on launch.
Is it worth it to pick up Space Engineers for $10? Also, what about Sniper Elite v2 for $7.49? Just not sure if they will go down more...
To anyone wondering if you should buy Max Payne 3: do not.
Unless I'm just retarded and can't figure things out, the activation servers no longer exist, so you cannot activate your CD key. Meaning you cannot play the game period, unless you use a crack of some sort.
I got Dark Souls 1 and 2. I really wanted to play them both, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity. Currently balls deep in DS1. I really missed out, but better late than never!

I'd highly advise against buying it. I quit halfway through because of sheer boredom.
Did a search of the lowest priced games, and found this-

You can't even buy it now :P
I was planning to get my friend Half-Life 1 & 2.
Should I strike now or wait?
