Without an emulator, MI3 doesn't work on modern computers so I can't play it.
Just get ScummVM. It's very simple to use and can get the old Lucasarts classics going on any modern machine.
Sam and Max: Hit the Road Special Edition better be next.

Great game, but I just wish the developer commentary was made a bit better, sometimes it plays over cutscenes and you can't hear what the characters are saying, but other than that everything is fine.
Fuck YES

This game is fucking hard. I never played the old Lucasarts adventure games before, so the difficulty came as a surprise. Pretty fun, though.

That's the damn point. You're supposed to play though once without them. Then play with them.

fuck yes

For the HD graphics, missing scenes stuck in and re-recorded audios. It's inevitable. I would buy it too, it was the best of the series in my opinion, it was fucking incredible.
Please tell me i'm not the only one who wants to see a Sam and Max Hit the Road: Special Edition. That would be fucking awesome.
I would do anything for a Sam and Max remake.
Lucasarts don't have the rights to Sam and Max at the moment so it's not on the cards. If they did it, I wonder what voice actors they would use.

Its a shame, but after looking at videos of Curse of Monkey Island, it doesn't really need to be remade that bad. It already has voice acting and decent graphics.

That one is already voiced and graphics look beautiful even today. Just run it through ScummVM and slap some filter on it, it won't be true HD but who cares. As a matter of fact I'm going to do that right now.
Still, I would pay so I don't hae to use ScummVM, so I have real HD, THE MISSING SCENES, commentaries and perhaps the ability to switch between curse graphics and these:
