Quite frankly, I sympathize with the kid. I've been in that position before. Having people harassing the shit out of you, going through ALL the legitimate channels trying to do something about it, and NOTHING getting done. If the school and family won't do something, the kid will inevitably take it upon himself to do something about it. The schools need to get off their asses and start doing something about the bullying issue. It will only provoke more shootings (in the future) if the problem is left unchecked. Having said that, I think its remarkable the kid had the foresight to bring the weapon in completely disassembled and unloaded.

I'm sorry, but that's not strawman, this is strawman:
I know you're an American. Doesn't mean you automatically understand gun culture. And obviously that isn't what you meant at all, by the way you were talking about it. "cause america is like "guns solve problems woooo second amendment *bang bang bang*"" is not "The media teaches that guns are a quick answer to your problems", it's "I think gun owners are cowboy rednecks looking to kill something"
He's literally telling LordCrypto what his argument is. In the former, LordCrypto is just clarifying his point. As always, Crypto suffers from shit presentation, and because of that shit starts getting slung. But it's always poor judgement to assume someone's position by the way they present it.
you've got two problems,
you've got a lot more
go turn on the tv, flip to a random channel see how long it takes for a drama show to discharge a firearm and the person being shot at is dead and they were unequivocally bad in terms of the story this is what i mean by "guns solve problems" in america also i'm an american you idiot
Mate, I'm very anti gun rights/gun culture and even I think you're being a massive retard
Guns have delicate feelings which need to be respected. Anyone who wants to discuss them in a negative light must do so with the utmost care and caution so not as to make guns feel like they're unwelcome.
you've got a lot more
Be-careful, he'll get a gun and show it to you
also i'm an american you idiot
Then how are you this out of touch with people defending their right to defend their selves? Kid was ballsy and smart about the whole thing at least.. Schools never take correct actions to prevent bullying, even after it is known to be active. Remember the principal who called the police because a student VIDEO-TAPED a couple of kids basically hazing him in a hallway?
but why didn't he take a knife cause america is like "guns solve problems woooo second amendment *bang bang bang*"
Why is this type of shitposting allowed?
and this happened because america's fetishization of guns made him learn that (cough cough tv) "guns solve bad people problems"
You don't sound any smarter or more clever by saying *cough cough* He was scared and took a weapon to school to scare off a bully, but nobody was harmed. It could have been a kitchen knife or a gun or a glorious hand-forged nippon steel katana folded over 1000 times in the hot flames of Mt. Fuji, it doesn't matter because he didn't actually use it and nobody was hurt. The problem is that the kid was getting bullied and nobody cared until the bullied kid made a counter-threat [editline]27th April 2014[/editline]
go turn on the tv, flip to a random channel see how long it takes for a drama show to discharge a firearm and the person being shot at is dead and they were unequivocally bad in terms of the story this is what i mean by "guns solve problems" in america also i'm an american you idiot
You fucking amateur From one of the most popular shows on TV during its run
Now this made me chuckle
Well we've all been bullied one way or another. 3rd grade I was bullied by a guy who was in 6th or 7th grade on the bus, too. What kind of piece of shit do you have to be to pick on a third grader when you're just 2 years out from high school. He was the physical type, never said a word. One day I just slapped him like a little bitch. Of course him having 4 years and 50 pounds over me, he easily just punched me in my dumb head a couple times and in turn got kicked off the bus. But I bet even to this day he still remembers the tiny third grader that slapped him for being a cunt Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do, but a gun is only going to get you into trouble, and possibly other people hurt. Be a man and use your hand is the traditional school feud settling motto. It would be nice if you could tell someone and it would stop, but it usually doesn't do anything but make your bullying situation worse. In my schools, if you got punched by some dicknugget, you just had to take it. Go to a teacher, it goes to the office, you get suspended because zero tolerance = you were involved, you get punished, and then you're also a snitch rat that now deserves to be bullied. It's a lose lose
but why didn't he take a knife cause america is like "guns solve problems woooo second amendment *bang bang bang*"
Armed citizens don't reduce crime by shooting every criminal dead, but by dramatically increasing the risk of harm to them. It's simple shit really, dude.
