The majority of Canada uses hydro-electric dams. Coal isn't a huge source of power here like it is in the U.S.
Are your dams eco-friendly, because the ones down here in the states aren't.
Dams are bad too. Not as bad as coal or gas but still not environmentally conscious.
It hurts me salmon fishing :'/ down here in the US
Knowing Quebecois engineering I would not trust a 30 year old nuclear plant as far as I could throw it
how far could you throw a nuclear power plant?
how far could you throw a nuclear power plant?
depends how old you are because a 13 year old probably couldn't throw one very far but if he's like 17 then probably a bit further
Let's switch to thorium guys please
China is building Thorium reactors currently and as I recall, already have two in place and working.
Environmental groups applauded the government's decision to shut down the plant
That's right, you applaud them. Cause now they have to switch to fossil fuels.
Because the nuclear waste is a hazard, and they all believe that it's a nuclear disaster waiting to happen.
And that's why every country should classify them as idiocy terrorist group and execute them en masse.
That's right, you applaud them. Cause now they have to switch to fossil fuels.
Yeah keep talking shit knowing squat about the situation.
And that's why every country should classify them as idiocy terrorist group and execute them en masse.
so edgy ~~
Dams are bad too. I was just trying to say that it was our primary source of electricity and that the shutdown of a nuclear power plant didn't mean that there would be a switch to coal in that area which valkery seemed to be implying. I apologize if I wasn't very clear about it
And that's why every country should classify them as idiocy terrorist group and execute them en masse.
If it wasn't for them we'd have a second chernobyl by now. They might be stupid but they sway public opinion way too much, causing a government to ensure that the safety regulations are upheld.
