People on FP and anyone who will have looked at the game for more than 5 minutes would realise that it's more than a Slenderman game. But to anyone skimming through quickly or relying on word of mouth there's no denying its quite similar
I don't like it just because Slenderman is in it and because bandwagon. I don't like it because their Slenderman model looks like Jack Skeleton, the mapping is horribly awful, and they pride themselves on creating an "incredible new awesome revolutionary multiplayer experience" by giving a character flashbacks of his [i]mysterious[/i] dead sister, and then making reskinned clones of that person walk around a forest.
Mixed feelings. As the guy who founded the Slendyerman wiki, and a big slendy fan myself, it pains me to see what Slender has done to the community, yet the exposure is still somewhat good. The main thing is how the game would be- if it would be shit, yea, throw it to the dogs. But if it was actually going to be well done, then I'd welcome it. I think Valve's reason for tossing it is dumb, but whatever.

Pretty sure a lot of people still like it and the lore, just the games are terrible and riding on the bandwagon to get free publicity from 12 year olds.
Well this has been the case since early september, only 2 months late and may have jumped the gun a little since, from september the faceless team have been in contact with Victor Surge trying to get the copy right and with any luck we should soon have it.
I am on the faceless team so maybe I'm a little bias but you may benefit from giving something a go before jumping on your own "anti bandwagon" bandwagon and judging it.

The games tend to seem like more of the same, since there's really not much you can do with a Slenderman game. The pictures are great if you can look past the fact that you know they're fake, and Marble Hornets had an alright story. But with the games, you know exactly how it's going to be. You're going to walk around in a forest, in the dark, and Slenderman is going to be behind you.
Similar to the minecraft clones people make to ride on somethings popularity. It's bound to happen.

I actually never got the idea of the Slenderman. I always knew it was bullshit, and so does everyone I guess. I've seen some pics/memes about it, but that's it. And I hear there are over 40 video entries on youtube of Slenderman, I don't even know.

Or because saying Slender is the same as The Intruder is as dumb as saying Gay Niggers from Outer Space is the same as Star Wars.
I would of preferred someone doing SCP: Containment Breach or something similar using the Source engine instead of doing Slender.

Honestly, for the longest time, I didn't know who Pewdiepie was. I heard people bitch about him, but I ignore it, so I didn't even know what he did. I googled it one day out of curiosity, thought "This guy's a moron", and left it at that.

I actually liked some of his literal trailers. Then he decided to take the easy route and play happy wheels and horror games on facecam. Now he makes 6 figures for making shit just like pewdiepie
