You know what I never got? Why conspiracy theorists always capitalize every letter in their sentences. No serious, does anyone else not recognize this trend? Wake Up, The Government Is Building Concentration Camps For the Lower Class! In Association With The New World Order and One World Government! like srs wtf
I don't get who the often quoted "They" is referring to and why they're going to kill anywhere from 50-90% of the population as the often cited number, not to mention why if there's super secret agencies controlling everything why they'd let someone like Alex Jones or any other conspiracy theorist with a blog live. [editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
Why do they always say FEMA camps? It's obviously IRS camps.
Because that's what's apparently been built all over the US as well as all these plastic coffins which totally aren't coffin liners. Oh and another thing why do conspiracy theorists only talk about how this is going to happen to America the rest of the world is hardly going to just sit back and be like "lmao look at America they're massacring their own people ROFL"
Hmmm, their other featured articles feature an alleged possibility of a full on alien invasion when the olympic torch (alien signal) is lit :v:' Edit: it would be pretty funny if one of the people who read these kinds of sites attempted to break for the torch to prevent it being lit at the london olympics.
anti-american is a retarded fucking term.
Yeah, with something like Infowars, I prefer the term "Paranoid Ramblings After Dropping Acid". Also known as PRADA. [sp]Prada is secretly run by the remnants of the Third Reich and the U.S. Government in an alliance with the Zaphods from the planet Betelgeuse.[/sp]
I seriously find it hilarious how these people treat Obama as if he's fucking Stalin with his great purges. [editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
Yeah, with something like Infowars, I prefer the term "Paranoid Ramblings After Dropping Bad Acid".
Un-American was always a really fucking stupid term to me.

It's pathetic.
This thread already seems to be de-railing... It's not about American, Asian or European; rather a military, as a whole, preforming martial law, or something, towards that extent. It's own citizens or foreign, there is no difference other than simple nationality.
Wait, the article mentions at the end how this is likely a response to outrage towards Obama, when the PDF document was leaked in 2006? It also mentions in response to just how 'outrageous' this PDF (published in 06) is, that preparations have been in the works for years, only citing examples from 2008 on. Also, as quoted by the article, much of the document talks about aims to reduce property damage and civilian casualties, specifically through the use of non-lethal methods of dispersing crowds. SHOCKINGLY, the government, in a situation where they needed to implement this for whatever reason, would do surveillance and try to understand who is a threat and who isn't. This isn't unusual, we do that to identify targets in the Middle East. If there was a violent group terrorizing our country from within, I would want the people protecting us to know who they need to be targeting. This whole article seems sensationalist and pointless. The government has possible plans in place to deal with violent groups breaking out in the US. Whether or not the violence is justified, do you expect them to just let people tear the country apart? I'm not saying the government is some squeaky clean entity that would act perfectly moral in a situation like that, but are we really surprised that they want to know how to react to people becoming violent and killing each other domestically? It seems to me that people who follow infowars and the like just assume that it's always the government who is evil, and that violent revolutionaries would only have the best intentions. Well, sorry to say that this isn't true. It's entirely possible that some horribly violent morons would try to cause an uprising. A few examples of the types of possible contenders could be religious radicals (sadly I feel that Christians would fill this slot easily), anti-government nutjobs (infowars), or aliens (also infowars).
Holy shit the source is an Alex Jones site? Please lock this thread
This seems surprisingly tame considering the fact that if riots ever got big enough that the National Guard can't handle it and the Army has to get involved, it might as well be a rebellion.
its hilarious how this leaks out and people kept disagreeing with me about the us shooting civilians if it came down to it
Incase you didn't notice: the source is infowars. The Onion prints more reliable information that them.
Infowars wasn't always an unreliable source. It just stopped being one when I tuned 14.
Holy shit the source is an Alex Jones site? Please lock this thread
Shh, don't make him mad:
My mom is a big follower of infowars and Alex Jones. :( It really is annoying, hearing him talk half of the day because she has her speakers up so loud. He sounds like Ghost from True Capitalist Radio, too, but his voice is annoying
If Infowars reported the sky was blue, I would shit my pants because it means the sky suddenly turned green. As for their latest pile of horse shit, I'm pretty sure deploying US troops on our own soil to use against our own people is expressly prohibited by the constitution.

So yes, they could deploy troops on their own soil against civilians in a martial law. Every civilised nation has these kinds of plans. This entire article is sensationalized Alex Jones' anti-Obama rhetoric.
martial* also
sweeper actual this is red dog. we have reports of "rioters" in your sector. "lethal force" is authorized
~lethal-force~ holla holla get NATO
Alex Jones is fucking batshit.
Pretty sure every law enforcement agency and military in the world has something like this. So what.
Considering how many Americans own firearms, doesn't surprise me really.
Infowars wasn't always an unreliable source. It just stopped being one when I tuned 14.
Did it really become more unreliable, or did you mature enough to see the bullshit it was peddling clearly? I don't remember there ever being a time when Infowars was ever a source worth the bandwidth it takes up.
