So.. What?.. Microsoft puts a label on somebody "Cheater"?.. Since when the fuck did this happen? There must be a damned good reason for that to happen.

Dyslexia + ADD is much more likely.
:frown:
He didn't have aspergers thats just a stupid rumor to make aspies feel better.
It's funny because it's true.
Normal kids are told the tooth fairy exists while kids with Aspergers are told Einstein had the same disease.

no it's an anti-tax system
If you seriously wanna tell me an autistic/aspergers kid is smarter than me then I will have a smart contest with any auttie or aspy.

Broke my automerge mofo
They should make camps where all autistic children are sent to spend their life in.
Kinda like imprisonment for life.
Didn't a nice German man try this in the 40's?
And we all know how that went...

Yeah, you will have that contest and lose like the moronic prick you seem to be. Get some semblance of humility and stop trying to make yourself out to be "smarter" than some individual with a physical/mental issue. That's plain arrogance and immaturity.

Seeing as autism does not actually effect a persons intellect (in such a way that autistic people are not super clever because they are autistic). So the whole thing is a moot point really, someone with autism / aspergers would be a complete genius just unable to communicate very well, while another person with it could just be a "normal" person in terms of smartness.

Man you're dumb. Not all autistic/asperger's kids are smarter than you, it just so happens many of the world's smartest people are asperger's or autistic.
Proof he was cheating?
They banned him.
If he's that autistic then why does he care? He can just do it all again. Everyone knows autistic people like repetition, just look at minecraft.
I wonder what the criteria are for determining cheating.

That is complete and utter BS, there is absolutely no way the worlds smartest people are freaking autistic/aspergeristic/retarded.
If you seriously don't believe I'm smarter than an autistic kid, I would not only win at a smart off but I'm confident I could easily win a fight by myself against at least 5 autistic kids.

Autistic or not if someone's talking shit they gonna get hit. Just because they have autism doesn't mean they can avoid fights, they're lucky enough not to be in an asylum.
That's an insult to real autistic people.
i am offended
i will now play in the middle of the road
Why does facepunch even like autistic kids? They're all spastic freaks who are very good at one thing.
Oh wait.
That's horrible, the fuck is wrong with Microsoft?
This is what you did: Read Title, Post.
But on topic, I don't doubt Microsoft on their label because I haven't seen one time where they labeled somebody wrong accidentally. The kid knows what he did.
Fucking idiots...
There are always some people better than others... i would fucking sue them if it was me.

I wouldn't. I'd lose and look like a cry baby.
Also I don't get why people think it's funny to tie in autism with minecraft. Are you guys just jealous you're terrible at a simple game?

how can you be terrible at minecraft? There's nothing to be terrible at.
no, it just requires a young person to play an FPS game for a week and get used to it
yeah tennis doesn't take skill either. anyone can move the limbs in the right order as long as they practice for a while.
And that's the farthest they'll go. I've never once seen an autistic person do something actually useful; I don't mean to offend but seriously why keep what is useless.
You sound like an actual genuine nazi.
He should just get a ps3, they're basically the same thing.

The mental disorder was being a flipping genius.
his non speech and classroom grades are all linkable to outside influences.
Edit: Also according to CNN Microsoft checked again and confirmed he was "cheating"
Regardless their system is not purely automated nor do we know how it really works. Microsoft also said they cannot release how he was cheating.
We confirmed there were cheated achievements and gave the parent the details. This wasnt a "he played too good" situation at all.

I'm inclined to side with microsoft on this one.
Microsoft, who have nothing to gain from labeling random people "Cheaters"
vs.
Uninformed parent that believes her child isn't capable of cheating so must be SO GOOD they THINK he is cheating.

Maybe his autism skill is cheating. I guess not if he got caught
Albert Einstein had Aspergers. Look at his name today, it's in Science Textbooks as a hero.
No no and no. Einstein did not have Asperger's, it's just a rumour that Aspies make up to feel better about themselves, so they can say that they don't want to be "like everyone else" because "they are superior and the next step in evolution". People just love to spread the rumour that Einstein had their same disease/disability/problems so they can feel better about themsleves.
Also I bet everyone that gave you an agree had Asperger's (or better, "self-diagnosed Asperger's").

Are you really that naive?
Not everyone who has Asperger's thinks that they are superior to everyone else. That's the stereotypical egocentric wanker. I know many people with Asperger's (myself included), who would love to be able to socialise easily and not feel awkward around people. I'd gladly give up this so called "superiority" to be able to have fun with other people.

I didn't say that everyone with Asperger's are like that, hence why I even said at the end "or better, self-diagnosed Asperger's". I'll admit I could have added a "most/many/a few" though.
