Good to see not everyone is an idiot and is boycotting the Arizona bill.
-I really hate paying $2.85 for a gallon of gas. If we drill more of our own oil, that's less oil we buy from other countries.
$2.85 = £1.92 1 gallon = 4.5 litres You pay 43p per litre. Currently in the UK it's around £1.15 per litre, which works out to £5.18 per gallon or $7.65.
I drive a 2002 Grand Prix GT. I get 25 MPG on average. I don't exactly drive a Hummer, y'know?
25mpg wtf
Good to see not everyone is an idiot and is boycotting the Arizona bill.
You have most obviously not read the OP. [editline]04:56PM[/editline]
$2.85 = £1.92 1 gallon = 4.5 litres You pay 43p per litre. Getting it down to ~$1.80 would be nice.
it's msnbc, it's fox news but democrats and just as crazy. they would like this statistic because it wild's up their viewers.
Good to see not everyone is an idiot and is boycotting the Arizona bill.
Read the title again.
I can remember it as low as $1.26 when I was a small child. Getting it down to ~$1.80 would be nice.
You'll live. $2.85 isn't that bad. Walk/ride your bike to closer places. If you have to go to a few places then go to them all in the same outing.
I drive a 2002 Grand Prix GT. I get 25 MPG on average. I don't exactly drive a Hummer, y'know?
25 MPG is terrible.
You have most obviously not read the OP.

Those aren’t the only striking results from this survey, which was conducted after several significant and newsworthy events: * Nearly two-thirds of Americans back Arizona’s new controversial immigration law;
I read the OP, and I'm saying this part is good.
I read the OP, and I'm saying this part is good.
Two thirds. That's a majority backing the bill. .
it's msnbc, it's fox news but democrats and just as crazy. they would like this statistic because it wild's up their viewers.
Oh, so now I can't use Fox because 'hurrr they're republican tards', and I can't use MSNBC because they like to rile up their viewers. Just because you don't like certain news doesn't mean it comes from an unreliable source. [editline]05:16PM[/editline]
25 MPG is terrible.
No. It isn't. It's average.
Two thirds. That's a majority backing the bill. .
I KNOW, fuck sake you guys. I think it's GOOD that the MAJORITY BACKS the bill.
Oh, so now I can't use Fox because 'hurrr they're republican tards', and I can't use MSNBC because they like to rile up their viewers. Just because you don't like certain news doesn't mean it comes from an unreliable source. [editline]05:16PM[/editline] No. It isn't. It's average.
Doesn't change the fact you're denying commonly agreed on science.
So I take it you're an American Indian? Because if not, all your descendants are immigrants, and I am a sure some were illegal.
So you support slavery? One of your descendants might have at one pointed owned a slave or supported slavery. Just because my ancestors did something doesn't mean I should think the same way.
Yes our immagrants were illegal, but that was before laws were in place and before this country was born (at least for me) I dilike the people that come to this country and make us pay taxes for them to live here without being a U.S. Citizen. Register or GTFO Not my problem that you live in a bad country called mexico and want a better way of life, time for you to deal with it and give us jobs back.
yeah fuck you people that want happiness i was born here AND I WANT IT ALL TO MYSELF [editline]09:23PM[/editline]
So you support slavery? One of your descendants might have at one pointed owned a slave or supported slavery. Just because my ancestors did something doesn't mean I should think the same way.
His point is that the only reason you are where you are is because you've profited off of theft, murder, and more specifically, illegal immigration. SO it's kind of ironic when you get in a hissy fit when someone else does it.
it's msnbc, it's fox news but democrats and just as crazy. they would like this statistic because it wild's up their viewers.
MSNBC isn't as blatant about it. To equate their bias to that of Fox News is an insult to MSNBC.
MSNBC isn't as blatant about it. To equate their bias to that of Fox News is an insult to MSNBC.
Yeah. You see, MSNBC doesn't send memos to their reporters telling them to spin stories to favor the democrats.
I too disagree with commonly agreed on science with rational, factual backings. We belong to an exclusive group of people who, without studying, before hand knowledge, or any actual qualification at all who know better than all those who do have what we do not. [editline]01:50PM[/editline] /sarcasm.
Rational, Factural backings in predicting climate change requires you to look over at the earths history. Sure our CO2 PPM is higher than before the industrial revolution, but this a stranger to the earths history. Rational, factual backing would be that, this has happened before, and earth recovered.
His point is that the only reason you are where you are is because you've profited off of theft, murder, and more specifically, illegal immigration. SO it's kind of ironic when you get in a hissy fit when someone else does it.
I didn't ask for any of that when I was born. If your father was a murderer does that make you a murderer as well? [editline]09:35PM[/editline]
Rational, Factural backings in predicting climate change requires you to look over at the earths history. Sure our CO2 PPM is higher than before the industrial revolution, but this a stranger to the earths history.
Scientists have looked over Earth's History. That's what a climatologist's job is.
Rational, factual backing would be that, this has happened before, and earth recovered.
Huge climate changes generally result in mass extinctions. Whether the Earth will survive or not isn't the question, it's whether we will or not. The Earth has carried on through meteor and comet impacts, mass volcanic activity, and much more, but most of the creatures that inhabit Earth at the time don't.
I KNOW, fuck sake you guys. I think it's GOOD that the MAJORITY BACKS the bill.
I misread read your sentence, thinking that you were saying that you were glad people were boycotting the bill.
Oh, so now I can't use Fox because 'hurrr they're republican tards', and I can't use MSNBC because they like to rile up their viewers.
Doesn't change the fact you're denying commonly agreed on science.
Most Americans pretty much discount global warming. It is not 'agreed upon'. There is no consensus.
Now, would anyone be as so kind as to explain to me why I'm wrong?
Arizona's immigration bill encourages and abets racial discrimination by police, which is unconstitutional. Offshore drilling reinforces our dependence on fossil fuels...
I don't believe in man-made global climate change.
...which is a bad thing regardless of whatever conspiracy theories you happen to believe in, and also leads to ecological disasters like the one we are experiencing now, which is not only doing catastrophic damage to the environment but also destroying the livelihoods of thousands of people on the gulf coast. [editline]11:08PM[/editline]
Most Americans pretty much discount global warming. It is not 'agreed upon'. There is no consensus.
Most Americans don't believe in evolution either. They're still wrong. Science isn't a democracy. There is a scientific consensus. We have the know how and the technology to progress through a climate heating change. Only downfall is that we'll hit a population shrinkage upon implementation of new technologies, then we'll spring back. Plus, as it is now, electric vehicles do not help our planet even more than gasoline. They don't ease up on the economic tension either (Long term price of a Hybrid vehicle). They also don't help us move away from foreign dependencies.
do you guys mean to blow shit out of proportion or does it just come naturally.
1,000 adults, and which has an overall margin of error of plus-minus 3.1 percentage
What an accurate poll!
What an accurate poll!
+/- 3.1% is fine, conclusions are still valid.
I drive a 2002 Grand Prix GT. I get 25 MPG on average. I don't exactly drive a Hummer, y'know?
Me too! Other then that we're the opposite. how cute, eh?
-I really hate paying $2.85 for a gallon of gas. If we drill more of our own oil, that's less oil we buy from other countries.
It's €1.40 for a LITRE of petrol here. That's $1.76/litre or $6.67/gallon. Quite your bitching.
It's €1.40 for a LITRE of petrol here. That's $1.76/litre or $6.67/gallon. Quite your bitching.
Americans drive a shitload more though. All our buildings are like five miles apart each. [editline]06:25PM[/editline] totally accurate estimate
Americans drive a shitload more though. All our buildings are like five miles apart each.
So? They should get a discount for being reliant on a shitty fuel source?
