I hope they fixed the triggers on that new controller model, both of my controllers lost the tension in both triggers within 6 months of having my ps4, really bummed me out.
Never treated them badly either.

That happened to a friends controller too.
Only issues I've had with one of my controllers is the rubber on one of the thumbsticks failing.
Hasn't happened to my newer controllers though, which seem to feature tougher rubber.

Fantastic they've made the rubber tougher that was a true pain in the ass, finger slips all round.
I was going to get me a couple of the grip stick things some sites sell to fight that on my next set o' controllers.

I like it. I wish I was rich enough to be throwing money at consoles every generation.
I do wonder what it is with Sony at the plastic they use in every slim model. It appears to be the same stuff used in the PS2 slim and the PS3 slim. I get it's probably cheaper, and I actually strangely appreciate the consistency. But it does seem a bit odd to totally change the style of the console when slimming it down.
Oh well, if this means price drops on the original PS4, can't complain. Been thinking of picking one up for a chance to play the exclusives I care about.
