They were released from jail, but they still have a conviction for sexual assualt against a child, their sentance has just been shortened and suspended.

According to UK law, if you have sex with someone who's under 13, regardless of how old you think they are or consent, it's automatically considered to be sexual assualt against a child.

As I just said, the law in the UK agrees with him. If you have sex with someone under the age of 13, you can't use the defence of 'I thought she was older'.

what i'm trying to say is, if you somehow screw up doing an activity in a completely normal fashion and accidentally do a crime, it shouldn't be a case where you get massively screwed over like these guys did
