How to make an HD edition by Nintendo:
Add shitloads of bloom
Add unnessisary shadows
Ruin the aesthetic of the game
Better than
-Increase Resolution from 640x360 to 640x480 with 2x AA
-Worsen performance
-Add metric fuckton of bugs
-Shoehorn microtransactions
-Remove all multiplayer functionalities
Which seems to be the trend nowadays.
When is the last time Nintendo developed a new IP?
This is wonderful, they're remaking the best (In my ever so personal opinion) Zelda game.
Although, a little less bloom might help it, the lighting in celshaded games should be subtle, not annoying bright.

Nintendo actually has a ton of IPs, they just dont use them as much as zelda.
Chibi Robo, golden sun, ect

Yeah, there's been at least about 50 new IPs since 2000. While some of them use/remodel existing ideas from Nintendo, such as Mario vs DK and Tingle's game of shits and giggles, none of them are the typical Zelda/Mario/Kirby games.

Last year.

Fine then a AAA new IP.
I might be the only one who dont dig this too much. I would want a new Zelda in the windwaker style though.

No thanks, its original graphics are what sold me. Its not a vast improvement to the graphics either.
The cartoony feel to it fits the gameplay, the same way that Twilight Princess' graphics fit its gameplay.

It's the first time they did something like "adding shitloads of bloom and unnecessary shadows" and it was literally just announced. No need to jump on it and say "WELP, THIS IS HOW NINTENDO DOES IT ALL THE TIME."
I have high hopes because I trust Nintendo in their games. I'm pretty sure this will turn around.

Yup rate me dumb instead of replying.

they're rating you dumb because you changed the standards of your question to try and save face just a heads-up
Fine then a AAA new IP.
Yes, because AAA IPs just fall out of the goddamn sky.
Don't suddenly change the terms of your statement when somebody proves you wrong.
Well im happy for the port!

You do realize that's just the shitty quality of the picture and not representative of the quality of the graphics, right?

Everyone forgets the fact that they did this because the all-new Zelda is going to take such a long time to make.
I think this is a perfect gift from Nintendo while we wait for the brand new Zelda.

cell shading =/= weird radiosity on characters
You do realize that's just the shitty quality of the picture and not representative of the quality of the graphics, right?
it's photoshopped... notice the two lens flares placed in for no reason
Looks good to me but I can see how some people might be a bit put off.
the new graphics butcher the original art style
Looks pretty cool, I guess for me it just depends on the price. If its more than $30 I would rather replay it on the GameCube
they're rating you dumb because you changed the standards of your question to try and save face just a heads-up
I don't consider Dillon's Rolling Western to be a new IP. More a shitty little game to give a developer something to do.
I didn't change the terms of my question, just elaborate further on them.
the new graphics are glorious, but are very jarring next to the original, especially with the whole cel shading theme. I think it serves as a teasing tech demo to show how much the wii-u can do even with such simple work, despite losing the minimal charm of the original.
also have some music
Dragon Roost Island played by London Philharmonic Orchestra
Fine then a AAA new IP.
I don't understand why you asked this specifically when I already answered your question. Games don't just sell a million copies so easily unless they've already been established to be fairly good. Don't try to be a smartass when you've already been proven wrong.
I also forgot two more IPs they created the year before.

im guessing the art style is like that because it's a WIP and not done yet
