If a war breaks out the entire fucking peninsula will EXPLODE.
The sinking of the South Korean warship, North Korean trespassing in South Korean waters and getting shot at, another naval clash at the same island they just attacked, a few border clashes, and the 1987 bombing of a South Korean airliner, and the capturing of the USS Pueblo are a few examples of how that is not true.
This is typical American conservative thinking. It's paranoia and it's no way to live your life. OR make a foreign policy out of, good thing that's not what the US does in reality.
Just like we said nothing will happen when they showcased the Taepodong 2?
And it'll keep happening until shit goes down or NK collapses, and the first one still isn't as likely as people want to think.
Hey can I send you a message saying "lol told you so" when shit dose go down?
uhh China+north Korea Vs the world.
or more like
China+north vs SK+US
uhh
okay
why would china get into a war for no real reason

Trust him man. He's played tons of Age of Empires and knows all about armies going to war for no real reason.
North Korea's army isn't dangerous for any reason other than sheer numbers. Not the best fed in the world, not the best armed. The only worry is for the safety of civvies in SK and the potential for NK's allies to help out.
My concerns were bolded out, tell me, which are and what are the chances of NK allies appearing, i'm seriously startled about all this.

I would say perhaps the only true concern would be other foreign communist countries?

NK and china are allies.
Theres been a LOT of stupider reasons to go to war then this, so its safe to assume anything could happen.

We have to remember if China sides with NK, they have a LOT to lose.

Using your logic, I can safely assume that Canada and the US are going to war tomorrow afternoon?
No, they're not.
You know nothing.
China have way too much financial gain from the US and other Westernised countries to even consider supporting North Korea in a war against the US and potentially NATO forces.
I'm glad I live in a small town because I have a lower chance of geting hit by a missle if they launch them.
The effects of war on the defense budget and economy in general would suck major dick, even to the point of making consumer goods more expensive, just like these last two wars did.
Weren't almost all the wars in the end actually beneficient for US economy? Remember reading an article a few months back, that essentially pointed out that another depression was expected after the war, but more or less the constant warfare that the US was in held it aloft and actually kickfired the industry.
Likewise China is not going to help NK in this. They have too many interests with the US to support NK in any idiocy it throws out. They've shown displeasure at them as it is.

Yeah sure, that'll be the day up is brown and black is Kuala Lumpur.
looks like things might go down after all.

if this escalates into something huge, and I die
I'll have spent all my life playing video games and browsing fp

North Korea?
Typical Americans, living under constant fear from a weak / non-existent enemy.

It's beneficial to the military industrial complex, to individual consumers it's a pain in the ass.

It's funny cause I live next to an air base that would likely be a target for NK and even I'M not afraid of anything.

uhh religious fanatics was a weak/ non-existent enemy, yet they were able to touch america on 9/11.
also I love your blant anti-American remarks.
Chances are nothings going to happen in america, but to say nothings going to happen at all in the peninsula is still foolish, wait and see but expect the worst.
If it does escalate, it's only going to be
Worst Korea against Best Korea + Everyone else.
It's beneficial to the military industrial complex, to individual consumers it's a pain in the ass.
Not really. Large military spending actually increases the national GDP, however it normally decreases the standard / quality of living.
Actually, that's pretty similar to what you said, haha, my bad.
At the first mention of nuclear weapons Im heading for the interior of British Columbia there is absolutely nothing there to nuke.
If it does escalate, it's only going to be

Fixed that for you.
and the potential for NK's allies to help out.
What allies?

NK is like China's little brother that China's mom told China they have to hold the hand of and look after all day even when China's with his friends and China resents his mom for it and has a grudge against his annoying little brother for it but does it because China is responsible and doesn't want to see NK starve
now I can definitely see them supporting NK in a war in a humanitarian way like as they have been doing for quite some time (ie providing food, medicine, fuel, logistical support etc.) and maybe even hardware like giving them tanks to drive, like overly-zealous cheerleaders
but siding with them in a full-on war? fuck no. they have absolutely nothing to gain and absolutely everything to lose, for a country they're not even particularly fond of (I mean, who is, really)

Oh now you go from fearing absolute destruction to just an isolated incident?
Don't worry man your Fallout fantasies will come true soon enough

Fucking Canada has pine trees posted at the border.
They haven't moved in a longass time.
Patient Canadian fuckers. I say we napalm them just to make sure.

I think 9/11 is the new Godwin's Law.
What I'm referring to isn't necessarily relevant to 9/11.
also I love your blant anti-American remarks.
If you want to take it as anti-American, be my guest, but it clearly means you've seen fault in the American psyche if you do.

You're an idiot if you think anything is going to happen. There have been so many cases where North Korea or South Korean troops have attacked each other, killed each others troops, sunk each others ships and blown out of the sky each others planes. It causes tensions to go high, and idiots like yourself to vouch for war, but the better option always works itself out. No one wants war, so it won't happen.
I'm certainly not expecting to be the worst, because I'm not an idiot.
