Damn, it was a loss for them, to the Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party. :| At least it's not Family First.
and whats wrong with motoring enthusiasts??
and whats wrong with motoring enthusiasts??
I don't have a problem with them, but I would have rather that they had retained their seat in the Senate. It is a joke however that a party can be elected on 0.5% of the primary vote.
Gay marriage is just the fashion of the present and its pointless putting in fibre optics now, 10 years ago it would be good but now the technological advances will trump it soon.
Equal rights for black people is just a fad, give it a year and everyone'll have forgotten about it.
NOOOOO There goes the NBN, the only thing that matters in the uneventful land of Australia.
Oh for FUCK SAKE.
NOOOOO There goes the NBN, the only thing that matters in the uneventful land of Australia.
Not yet... As I posted earlier, it will take a while for it to be removed; given the situation in the senate, there may never be any changes.. :v: Labor and the Greens will combine their powers and veto the fuck out of everything.

You got my hopes up and then shot them down, thanks.
Wow didn't know there was an "Intruder" at Abotts speech area. Apparently he made his yellow wrist band that allowed him to gain entry to the place out of Starburst wrappers. I like how this is top story on BBC world news, they usually only really care if it's our PM or the US president
rip in peace aussies we in america love you. its bad here too. atleast you dont have obama.
how? he isnt being discriminatory, men and women ARE in fact different; his argument is just as true for men
Yes. We're different, but everyone should be treated the same, regardless of their sex, gender, sexuality, etc
rip in peace aussies we in america love you. its bad here too. atleast you dont have obama.
but they do have his ears
Well liberals win by landslide. If you'll excuse me I'm going to go hook my exhaust up to my window with a hose and take a short nap in my car.
Oh god, Australian public had to do a kneejerk reaction when everything wasn't going 100% right for Labor, sigh guess I'm stuck with my shithouse internet for a lot longer now...
so many angry socialists in this thread. go to north korea, it's better there.
so many angry socialists in this thread. go to north korea, it's better there.
I don't think you have a strong grasp on how bad this is for the nation.
I don't think you have a strong grasp on how bad this is for the nation.
I don't think you can name a single point apart from THE FOIBAH
I don't think you have a strong grasp on how bad this is for the nation.
I don't think the election of this guy is going to destroy Australia.
Petition you should sign :) http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/complaint-against-news-corp-australia.html [editline]8th September 2013[/editline] Even if you are against labour, you can't argue that the news coverage wasn't biased. This petition isn't for labour, it's for fair news coverage next time around.
More socialist regulations? Just what we need. People voted Abbott, just get over it.
You know adding the word socialist onto everything doesn't automatically make it bad.
More socialist regulations? Just what we need. People voted Abbott, just get over it.
If you hate socialism so much why are you still in Australia?
Would you have signed/made this, had Labour won?
If the news was one sided toward labour yeah.
Petition you should sign :) http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/complaint-against-news-corp-australia.html [editline]8th September 2013[/editline] Even if you are against labour, you can't argue that the news coverage wasn't biased.
If you hate socialism so much why are you still in Australia?
Because LNP won and LDP is making ground in the senate.
If the news was one sided toward labour yeah.
How would you have identified this? Also how did you identify the bias towards the Liberals as well?
None of these liberals seem to be realising the main reason everyone is pissed is not what Abbott will do, it's what he won't do. And he's literally told us he won't do it. Let's see. Marriage quality. NBN. Anything to do with climate change. Treat asylum seekers with any sort of human decency. Additional spending on education. Even if they go ahead and 'fix' the economy which is almost the only positive thing they said they would do, it's not going to be great enough to affect anyone. No one will suddenly hugely benefit from the country being in less debt. That's not how it works. And the worst part is a man who has shown himself as a racist, sexist, homophobe, now thinks he is the unified representative of everyone in this country, and it's just going to make Australian's look like a bunch of xenophobic retards when he starts on any sort of foreign relation policies.
Because LNP won and LDP is making ground in the senate.
If John Howard didn't change anything about our socialist country, what makes you think Tony Abbot will?
