How would you have identified this? Also how did you identify the bias towards the Liberals as well?
It was blatantly obvious.
How would you have identified this? Also how did you identify the bias towards the Liberals as well?
They did have a pretty big smug attitude when libs were filling out a majority of the seats.
Marriage quality. NBN. Anything to do with climate change. Treat asylum seekers with any sort of human decency. Additional spending on education.
Marriage equality wouldn't pass anyway and it was a vote grab by rudd NBN is still happening when our country contributes like 2% of carbon output there is no sensibility in killing our economy and industry Labor already put asylum seekers in offshore detention centres, why are you angry at LNP for this education should be completely privatised
Are you also planning on filing complaints against every television network whose programming was biased in favor of those who didn't win?
No, just the one large enough to sway an election by themselves.
I don't think you can name a single point apart from THE FOIBAH
How about the fact that he's sexist scum who doesn't care for the environment or marriage equality? Y'know, things a politician should care about?
If John Howard didn't change anything about our socialist country, what makes you think Tony Abbot will?
w-what makes you t-think anything c-can ever change!!! Seriously? Wow. I love my country and believe in it. The future is bright.
education should be completely privatised
Are you serious? That's fucking stupid.
w-what makes you t-think anything c-can ever change!!! Seriously? Wow. I love my country and believe in it. The future is bright.
If you love it so much why do you hate socialism?
i dont understand was labour good or bad for austrailia i know now libs are bit jerks, but was labour good i mean, ive always been hearing how good austrailia was doing compared to the rest of the world
i dont understand was labour good or bad for austrailia i know now libs are bit jerks, but was labour good i mean, ive always been hearing how good austrailia was doing compared to the rest of the world
Labour's good for Australia. Liberal's are better.
It was blatantly obvious.
I was thinking that you could have let it slide if Labour won, but I'm not going to assert that you would.
How about the fact that he's sexist scum who doesn't care for the environment or marriage equality? Y'know, things a politician should care about?
Always funny to see a straight white male calling someone sexist against females. Tony Abbot has the full support of his wife and daughters and other female party members, and probably the majority of female voters too. Marriage equality won't pass and it was a rudd vote grab. Environment doesn't factor into anything. Economy comes first. These two issues (gay marriage and the environment) should not be the main focus of a politician either. [editline]8th September 2013[/editline]
If you love it so much why do you hate socialism?
Because the welfare state funds stagnation.
education should be completely privatised
If education was completely privatised, then school fees will skyrocket. Also, there are plenty of private schools that receive government support.
Always funny to see a straight white male calling someone sexist against females. Tony Abbot has the full support of his wife and daughters and other female party members, and probably the majority of female voters too.
Oh okay because none of these statements are sexist at all
"What the housewives of Australia need to understand - as they do the ironing - is that if they get it done commercially, it's going to go up in price" "I think it would be folly to expect that women will ever dominate or even approach equal representation in a large number of areas simply because their aptitudes, abilities and interests are different for physiological reasons" "I won't be rushing out to get my daughters vaccinated against cervical cancer" "Abortion is the easy way out. It's hardly surprising that people should choose the most convenient exist from awkward situations"
nope, totally sane-sounded things to say, makes 100% sense Also the fact that you're looking at MONEY > ENVIRONMENT is actually pretty sad.
Labour's good for Australia. Liberal's better.
If libs were better they would be for marriage equality, and show human decency to boat people instead of telling to fuck off, country's full. Yes our current refugee asylums aren't great, but it's still better than sending them back to whatever they were escaping from.
Always funny to see a straight white male calling someone sexist against females. Tony Abbot has the full support of his wife and daughters and other female party members, and probably the majority of female voters too.
Um... no offense, but Tony Abbott's kinda directly related to his wife and daughters, so, you know, they'd probably support him. And, well, women that vote Liberal would vote for Abbott because he's the leader of the Liberal party.
Oh okay because none of these statements are sexist at all nope, totally sane-sounded things to say, makes 100% sense Also the fact that you're looking at MONEY > ENVIRONMENT is actually pretty sad.
All of those quotes are factual, the third one is just his opinion and none of them are sexist in anyway. Stop trying to be offended for people, you look stupid.
education should be completely privatised
is this a joke?
Um... no offense, but Tony Abbott's kinda directly related to his wife and daughters, so, you know, they'd probably support him.
Actually, you'd be surprised. http://www.news.com.au/national-news/tony-abbott-reaffirms-oppostion-to-gay-marriage-despite-daughters-pleas/story-fncynjr2-1226610114125 His daughters don't fully support him.
Now I'm probably going to get dumbs for this But though being two major issues gay marriage and NBN are not the most important things. At least now we will have a stable government without it being in the balance by three independents and one who can keep the same leader, labour was actually quite incompetent at alot of things. And keep in mind that the prime minister is really just a face labour will still have some say. And to be honest i'm glad liberal got in.
If you love it so much why do you hate socialism?
australia isnt socialist wtf are you talking about
Although i do agree that a country's economy is vitally important saying that marriage equality and the environment is not as important is pretty blind
All of those quotes are factional, the third one is just his opinion and none of them are sexist in anyway. Stop trying to be offended for people, you look stupid.
Are you actually serious right now his OPINIONS are sexist, and his OPINIONS are what end up governing his decisions as PM - it's why politicians are voted in because people can relate to their OPINION on things that matter! The hell do you mean factional, they mean what they mean, there's no hidden agenda or bigger meaning behind them, he's outright saying women should be home doing the ironing how is that not sexist
he's outright saying women should be home doing the ironing how is that not sexist
Where did he say that?
I'm pretty sure UltraSamurai is defending Tony Abbot because he thinks he'll get a bigger centrelink payment from all the "savings" the libs will do with all those unneeded cuts. He's going to be devastated when he finds out it won't get bigger.
Dear everyone. It's Labor, not Labour.
Where did he say that?
"What the housewives of Australia need to understand - as they do the ironing - is that if they get it done commercially, it's going to go up in price" Do you like lack the ability to read or something do I need to underline every word I type
australia isnt socialist wtf are you talking about
We have a mixed economy here, capitalism and social programs. Social programs like medicare

You're going to need to underline everything.
