Is there any truth to a positive correlation between liberal voters and business students? edited for clarity
Is there any truth to the correlation between liberal voters and business students?
I don't understand the question but I am a student of commerce and I voted for the greens.
My condolences to you Aussies.
Tony Abbott called, he said "ok"
"I'm the guy with my dick in the country and has these two hot daughters" Hint: They're not particularly attractive. Neither is his dick. *Edit: Copy pasted off Twitter since it's totally accurate:
Abbott’s victory speech: “Well ahh, well ahhh, ladies you can have a night off making the dinner tonight!
So far McMahon is labor! [20.96% counted] http://vtr.aec.gov.au/HouseDivisionFirstPrefs-17496-315.htm YES!
Is there any truth to the correlation between liberal voters and business students?
The correlation would be that business students would NOT vote for the Coalition. I might be speaking for just myself but I am a student of Business and Commerce, and although I am one of the most right-leaning members of this forum, I preferenced my vote for Labor and the Greens over the Coalition. On the economics side of things, I agree far more with Labor's approach to fiscal policy (with Keynesian influences) than I do with the Coalition's approach (closer to classical economics).
i'm vomiting everywhere
i'm vomiting everywhere
Title is appropriate.
How much longer until they announce it?
How much longer until they announce it?
[sarcasm]Just under 5 minutes.[/sarcasm]
Holy fuck I am moving as far away as possible.
I'm really really disappointed, but then again, I live in a seat that has never left Liberal hands in 113 years. Labor voters here are slightly rarer then living tyrannosaurus rexes. Still, maybe a Lib government'll throw some sweets this way.
bad luck aussies [editline]7th September 2013[/editline] we got right wing wankers in charge here too
Vote Kim Dotcom!
Holy fuck I am moving as far away as possible.
Move to North Korea where their Prime Minister is an real Australian and a true Christian.
fuck this country [editline]7th September 2013[/editline] grats everyone our leader is going to be a bigoted xenophobe great job guys
at least you're safe from the boat people
How is this prime minister going to fuck us over? (Serious question I've ignored politics completely because these shits are so useless)
How is this prime minister going to fuck us over? (Serious question I've ignored politics completely because these shits are so useless)
In all honesty he probably won't. We have too many checks and balances on our political system for him to do any real damage.
My electorate looks fine! http://vtr.aec.gov.au/HouseDivisionFirstPrefs-17496-126.htm Joel Fitzgibbon [Labor] has held the electorate since 1996!
My electorate looks fine! http://vtr.aec.gov.au/HouseDivisionFirstPrefs-17496-126.htm Joel Fitzgibbon [Labor] has held the electorate since 1996!
PUP and Christian Democrats preference Nationals, if those were all the votes in your seat, Fitzgibbon will lose. [editline]7th September 2013[/editline] Oh and one nation.
How is this prime minister going to fuck us over? (Serious question I've ignored politics completely because these shits are so useless)
Cuts everywhere to "save" money, rich people will get to pay less in taxes. The nbn will be replaced with an inferior more expensive copper node system, a mandatory internet filter no one can opt-out of, and we'll tell every boat person to fuck off because the country is full. I think that's about everything. Well this will only happen if Tony wins.
We've been fucked over by an incompetent Labor government for 6years now and you guys are bitching they've lost this election. Suck it
please explain how we've been fucked over
I think that's about everything.
That we know of :tinfoil: Also the filter was backflipped on. They aren't gonna put it in thankfully.

[editline]7th September 2013[/editline] Oh and one nation.
That will probably be the case, thus I am hoping that there is just enough of a gap!
Also the filter was backflipped on. They aren't gonna put it in thankfully.
I cannot imagine Malcolm would be in support of it anyway, given that he will probably become the Minister for Communications and Broadband.
Nah the internet filter will be opt-out but it doesn't matter the filter will slow the whole thing down.
How is this prime minister going to fuck us over? (Serious question I've ignored politics completely because these shits are so useless)
Well he believes Gay Marriage is between a man and an women, and he might review the video game classification system so... facepunch standards label him as evil.
i don't know much about Australian politics, so why is it that a party called the Liberals is apparently composed of super-xenophobic, right-wing fucksticks? was it always like this, or was there some sort of weird switcheroo like with Republicans and Democrats?
Well looks like I'm not emigrating to Australia in the next 5 years. Why anyone in a non-eu country would have a Gay Marriage policy other than "Fuck yes" I will never understand.
How is this prime minister going to fuck us over? (Serious question I've ignored politics completely because these shits are so useless)
in much the same way that Australia was destroyed between 1996 and 2007
We've been fucked over by an incompetent Labor government for 6years now and you guys are bitching they've lost this election. Suck it
Everyone blames them for the economy when they did a pretty damn good job what with the global financial crisis. This is what happens when you force people to vote, the majority of people have no idea what they are talking about. We are in a bad spot, must be the governments fault!
my parents voted for abbot :(
