While I think men and women are equal, they are also different and I think it's inevitable and I don't think it's a bad thing at all that we always have, say, more women doing things like physiotherapy and an enormous number of women simply doing housework
With Australia's deficit being so small, compared to other countries, compared to our GDP, taking into consideration how the global economy is affecting things more than the government, it really takes the Liberal party to make a big fuss and cause a panic in people who understand absolutely nothing about economics.
well if we have a trillion dollars debt and america had a infinite debt does that suddenly make our debt not bad ? because some one else's is worse, stop giving a shit about another nation and just think about ours.
“I think it would be folly to expect that women will ever dominate or even approach equal representation in a large number of areas simply because their aptitudes, abilities and interests are different for physiological reasons”
Totally not a sexist statement.
how? he isnt being discriminatory, men and women ARE in fact different; his argument is just as true for men
it seems like you're the polar opposite and would shelve humanitarianism issues for economical ones. which is heinous.
newsflash we can do both. ideally with the greens. shame the majority of our population proved themselves to be idiots though. sacrificing all human empathy for a better economy. i hate to be the guy that enacts godwins law, but does that ring any bells.
i mean, hitler did wonders for germany's economy! not that it's as big of an atrocity, but we are committing them by horribly mistreating 'boat people' (such a fuckin racist sounding term jesus)
got to love you rusty, you just showed your true support the greens which should be called the reds the most communist party (which is still more communist than the communist party)
Saying he represents us is like we're a nation of morons.
Oh, who represents us then?
Tony's speech coming in a few mins

man you are truly hopeless
I don't see why he wouldn't.
And I'm not quite sure who won my local seat. Though like 6 out of the 9 people available were sided to the Liberals so it doesn't sound good.
Listen to all those happy cunts
I want to punch Abott in his fucking fat face. How are we meant to keep up with Europe and Asia now?
Fucking piece of shit.
Listen to all those happy cunts
No woman/dog-whistle hybrid in the audience. Better conference by default.

What does this even mean?
What does this even mean?
I think he means Internet.

Bah, was hoping Labor might grab it.
And you know where I live.
Friends parent has likely lost their seat in Parliament.
Why did he mention how much the Labor party lost by? That's ridiculous, there is nothing more threatening to a democracy than an election landslide.
well if we have a trillion dollars debt and america had a infinite debt does that suddenly make our debt not bad ? because some one else's is worse, stop giving a shit about another nation and just think about ours.
Again with the stupid shit? It's about context and the only countries who manage a surplus either fuck over their own people or rake in absurd amounts of foreign cash. This is an economic matter and the only basis you have for saying our debt is bad is because you think a billion dollars is a big number.
As a percentage of GDP, as a portion of what we make every year, our total debt among the best in the world, on par with fucking China. We don't need to go into austerity mode to pay off a debt which is perfectly fine just so you your uninformed self thinks things are going well.

Because it's a very simple to understand metric.
The level of smug coming off him at the moment is ridiculous.
on the brightside maybe australia turning to shit under liberal nutjobs will stop the brain drain from nz. i have lost 4 friends to australia :(
I'm reminded very much of the V for Vendetta speech when he puts the blame solely on the public for, in their fear, blindly voting in a strong leader, a strong party, people who promised to keep Great Britain in good shape economically. And then that party fucked Great Britain up the arse.
Why are people so blinded by the notion of having a good economy over having good social standards?!
Was john howard in tears just then

It's hard to tell. His bald spot gives off lens flare in even the darkest of rooms.
liberal had a surplus of 50 billion dollers when they left office, now labour has racked up 350 billion + debt, i really find that a great track labour has left us...
national debt isn't everything, nor is it automatically a bad thing. australia has still had 22 years of uninterrupted growth. heck even the economist put their support behind labor for being better for the economy
i have, it just seems your so far up gay peoples arse you think that's the only problem with society at the moment rather than having a good economy ?
So you think that if you have Gay Marriage then you can't also care about the economy? It's not like the entire Cabinet would have to lock themselves in a room for fifty days and fifty nights studying in order to come up with a motion for Gay Marriage, it takes 5 fucking minutes.
I'm really annoyed most of the people of this country are so stupid.
I want to punch Abott in his fucking fat face. How are we meant to keep up with Europe and Asia now?

You certainly are a Chimp
I'm really annoyed most of the people of this country are so stupid.
Just wait until next election and the impatient majority will be pushing for change again
I'm really annoyed most of the people of this country are so stupid.
My brother didn't even fill in his 2 pieces of paper because he didn't care.
I really wanted Labor to win, for the nice internet but the gay marriage mostly. I know alot of people that would love that and he was at least going to attempt to try and get it passed. They will be so disappointed.
Is it bad that's why I wanted him to win? I didn't really know about the rest of the policies, just those 2 stuck hard.
