He liked a big bunch of nazi related videos on his youtube and apparently him and (or at least) his brothers are SD's
If going by a interest in history is enough to brand people as Neo-nazis, then I can safely inform you, you are completely wrong, and ought to look up the defintion of a Neo-Nazi and other similiar ideologies. I still see no correlation between any speculation posted in this thread, unlike the last knife attack before this one, done by a immigrant who wanted to permanently stay in Sweden, this person most likely has at least one underlying mental ailment, thusly, he would never be found guilty of the actions he did in a Swedish court. So, in short, he is not a National Socialist, this was most likely not a hate crime, but rather the actions of a mentally disturbed person. He would never have been found guilty of his actions in a Swedish court. As for what his family votes for, has no bearing on a mentally disturbed individual, nor his actions today, but I will gladly be proven wrong.
Maybe hes both mentally disturbed and a nazi
In which case, as I mentioned, no Swedish court would find him guilty, as he was not in his minds full right when he performed the action. It's disgusting people seem to be wanting to set their own agenda using this, rather than seeing it for the tragedy it is.
I dunno he followed a lot of Nazi type dudes on Youtube and shares all the same attributes the usual Nazi edgelords have.
The only thing I can see are documentaries about WW2, musical videos, comedians and so forth. More than welcome to point me in the direction you're seeing, though.
Aftonbladet has written that the perpetrator had right wing extremist views, and that he showed right wing extremist sympathy on the internet, SÄPO has been brought into the case and the police are investigating this as a hate crime.
Aftonbladet is about as serious as The Onion, though. More than likely, he was mentally disturbed, which is what caused this. Of course, anything as serious as this involves SÄPO; The IKEA stabbings did as well. I have yet to see any of this supposed "right wing extremist views" everyone seems to be calling out in the thread, while I have already proven is not true, given how it is based on his Youtube history. Once again, it seems people are furthering their own agenda instead of seeing this for the tragedy it is.
Why do you not want him to be a right wing extremist, its not like he would make the nazis look worse.
I am stating the facts, nothing else. Using a national tragedy to further ones own agenda, as it seems people are doing here by stating things that are completely false, should not go without questioning. But perhaps facts aren't interesting to Facepunch.
I don't really think politics is this kids motivation, but whatever.
Swords were designed and made purely to kill other human beings, so... I'm gonna still keep the one next to my bed, just in case. :v:v
Stabbings! Oh yeah. We had a couple of those today, too.
Gee, I wonder why.
The U.N. deputy secretary-general says the escalating Israeli-Palestinian crisis is a result of Israel's "stifling and humiliating occupation" of Palestinian territories for almost half a century and diminishing hopes for a viable Palestinian state.
Here's a source for you.

According to people around him he cut of his long hair and started paying tributes to Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany on different social medias. On Facebook he supported a petition to stop the immigration to Sweden.

But him being a nazi doesn't forward anyones agenda.
He wasn't a Nazi, historically interested once again. And saying that he is right wing and stating his families views on politics etc, are furthering ones own agenda. While in reality, he was a mentally disturbed individual, who most likely did not get the proffesional help he needed, that should be provided. The fact that the help he needed, wasn't provided, is something that has been happening for a long while. I know plenty of people who have been screaming for help in the past due to mental illnesses, but have been turned down help, and resorting, either to be forced to get help, or because they didn't get it, to attack people or commit other crimes.
Once again, it seems people are furthering their own agenda instead of seeing this for the tragedy it is.
That is extremely rich coming from you.
From what? Word is circulating amongst people who are friends with his brother that he was beaten, most likely by immigrants. As well as sporadic reports coming in that immigrants have also attacked two others.
Lmao why are you getting so upset some neo-nazi sympathizer is being called out for what he is? A right-wing shithead. Does this make you sad?
You've yet to bring actual proof of your claims rather than just your own words
Lmao why are you getting so upset some neo-nazi sympathizer is being called out for what he is? A right-wing shithead. Does this make you sad?
Does it make you sad he wasn't? I never stated that line as fact, but rather that it is circulating, amongst people who are close to the family, that at least one more innocent person was hurt today. I have disproven the fact that he liked a "bunch of race war, pro-white stuff" on youtube. What else should I disprove that has been repeatedly stated in this thread? Time will tell what comes out of the investigation, but it seems that he was a mentally disturbed individual, who did not recieve the help he needed.
Does sweden have some policy for not giving out personal information about people who do this? I hope not, That's how chain reactions happens. My condolences to the family of the killer and the victims.
If I like a shitton of ISIS videos, including their anthemn, and like a bunch of videos from Islamist preachers. Then go out killing kids, I doubt you'd be pulling this lame shtick. It's only natural for people to make the connection.

We're just talking about the guy and what may have caused him to act like this, and you come out going all "SJW" (ye im using this phrase) on us.
Stabbings! Oh yeah. We had a couple of those today, too. I'm sure the US state dept. isn't going to accuse the Swedish police of using excessive force for killing the suspect, though.
Shut the hell up.

I am stating the facts and truths, does that hurt your feelings?
You're not stating facts and truths however? You're extrapolating from the information you've gathered from his channel and formed one opinion, while I've formed another. You are however extremely defensive when we try talking about the other possibility. That he's actually a nazi sympathizer. https://www.youtube.com/user/hiphopdestroyer666

https://www.youtube.com/user/hiphopdestroyer666
Given how I don't agree with that, I will of course defend my view on things, while others attempt to exploit it for their own purposes. If he was a Nazi, I likewise doubt he would have been in a support group for Marijuana on FB, for example, nor posed with immigrants shortly before he went on the killing spree. But I digress, we will just have to wait and see what the results of the investigation gives.
Ooooh boy the media will have such a field day with this as will the politicians.
So he just happened to have shown right wing extremists sympathy on the internet while liking pages paying tribute to Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany and nazism-related videos on youtube, and then by pure chance went to a school consisting on 9/10 immigrants and stabbed a bunch of people? Yeah, those are not signs of hate crime at all.
possibly resembling a Nazi World War Two uniform.

police found things “that are interesting for the investigation.”

The killings took place in a school with a high proportion of immigrants, raising fears the killer’s motives may have been racist.

“during the past month he showed clear sympathies with the extreme right and anti-immigration movements”.
Yea sure who knows what this guy was thinking, there's no way it has political motivations at all.
Yea sure who knows what this guy was thinking, there's no way it has political motivations at all.
I haven't stated it is completely impossible that it is. Saying that it most likely is not, and basing his hobbies off as his political views is just stupid. Posting snippets from a news article means nothing, either. Finding things that are of interest to the investigation can mean anything, "possibly resembling" etc. But like I said, I will gladly wait and see what the investigation comes to for conclusion.
internet investigations are bad unless they're a nazi
Flashback said that the attacker lived near two schools and choose to go to the school furthest away with more immigrants. If we take this and all the other signs we can agree that his motives were most likely racist.
