This game isn't really that innovative. The only thing that sets it apart from other games like it is the hacking and doesn't look like it's that fun to do.
You cant make a judgement about gameplay innovation about a game you've never played
I might buy it but I'll probably wait till gameplay videos and reviews are out
I might buy it but I'll probably wait till gameplay videos and reviews are out
You are aware that this game has tons of gameplay videos on the web already, right?

Ever since I've heard of GTA, I've always wanted to see a sandbox city game that looks like Chicago. They had better get most of the important stuff right.
I'm pretty skeptical, but I'll wait for the reviews to come out before making any judgments.
I'm pretty skeptical, but I'll wait for the reviews to come out before making any judgments.
It'll probably be branded as "Ok playing sandbox game, with only innovation being hacking". So probably good and hopefully playable. But maybe we'll see more to it. I hope.
Let me rephrase, gameplay videos from actual people, for the actual game.
If I can find it i'll post gameplay I recording off screen at PAX last year.
Awesome, although i'm personally way more hyped for The Crew.

Specially around the Thompson center [editline]6th March 2014[/editline] You know, the folks that just walk around babbling weird crap?
They need to let you visit Museum Campus. [editline]6th March 2014[/editline]
Don't forget the "weirdos" here and there.
They need to let you visit Museum Campus. [editline]6th March 2014[/editline] You mean the meth heads, right?
Yeah I think. I passed by two, one hiding behind a decorated Depaul Campus wall (You know, Depaul Campus with the book store and awesome food court next to Harold Library), and another in a doorway. [editline]6th March 2014[/editline] i.e. Chicagoans hope they got Chicago right. :v:
You mean the meth heads, right?
They prefer to be called Methican Americans!

They had better get most of the important stuff right.
I remember the teaser mission they put out, it happened at the corner of State & Lake, he went into the Chicago Theater and came out the back-left side. It seemed to have turned into a night club on the inside but I haven't been in there myself to say anything about the way the interior is set up, lobby/ballrooms/etc. I think they missed the corner of the building though, which was a diner at the time, but has recently been upgraded to a chick-fil-a, which is a project I worked on. the game looked to have treated it as just being the theater the whole way through Knew that intersection too well, and for some reason there was a gas station at the north-east corner, where there's now a big tower with some crazy lightning bolt carved into the side. They got the El Train above Lake St spot-on though It'll be condensed like GTA was, no doubt, but it should still have some reliable placement and representation of major anchor locales. Chicago Theater is pretty much your atypical performance theater, nice seats, stages, etc. Also I'm fine with condensation, so long as it still, as a whole, looks like Chicago. Plus I wonder if they'll be true with streets, that would be fun to actually know the way to go rather than stare at my mini map.
I wonder how detailed Chicago will be. I bet I can use what I know to actually navigate the city.
I hoped was true with Fallout 3 and I kept getting lost once I had played it.
I hoped was true with Fallout 3 and I kept getting lost once I had played it.
Fallout 3 was pretty close to the real thing from my memory, but the problem is that they had so much of it closed off by big piles of rubble. Something like 60% of the streets were "blocked off" because there were just piles of rubble in the way

Aw yeah it comes right after my university entrance exams are over :v:
Will it have multiplayer?
C'mon guys really
Wii U is the new sega saturn; sorry PC, PS4 and Xbone have way more market so investors push for it more.
Sweet, that's a day right before my birthday! I'm wondering whether I should buy a PS4 and buy the game for it or just getting the PC version of it and hope my laptop can run it.
Will it have multiplayer?
there's the option for drop in multiplayer a hacker will appear in your game, you have to find him and take him out or you could be the hacker
Wii U is the new sega saturn; sorry PC, PS4 and Xbone have way more market so investors push for it more.
The Wii U version was delayed because they needed the people from that team to work on the other versions.
"It's been paused," Morin states of the Wii U build, "which means delayed. "There were some very talented programmers working on it and, when we started to point at the things we needed to fix, we needed those guys and their experience. It was a logical choice to say - let's get those people, let's pause the Wii U thing, let's make sure the experience is where we wanted to be. Once other versions are done, "then Wii U can get back into place," he concludes.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-03-06-why-watch-dogs-was-delayed Plus they're still experimenting with the Gamepad since it apparently gave the Wii U team a lot of ideas to play with, and the Wii U version is being made by a different studio.
Even though I have a ps4 I wanted it for wiiu. Sadness
Jeez, I completely forgot this game existed. I was probably going to get the Wii U version as well, but there's a high chance that will get cancelled sadly. Guess I'll just wait for an extreme sale later on
there's the option for drop in multiplayer a hacker will appear in your game, you have to find him and take him out or you could be the hacker
Is that the only game mode? Anyways, I'm more interested in the division. They're taking it to a whole new level:
