I doubt we'll get the quality of the first since Stainless Steel shut down. If however they try and revive EE, I hope they make a sequel, however unlikely, to Empires: Dawn of the Modern World, a sort of spinoff of EE and what I consider one of the best RTS of all time.
there's an ad for that on the back of my jewel case for the original CoD.
world in conflict pls
swat 5 or no deal
The entire SWAT series was made by Irrational Games, not Sierra. Sierra used to be a massive publishing house. Some reading comprehension/the ability to do the research in this thread would be nice.
I can't remember precisely, but doesn't Sierra have the rights to No One Lives Forever in some way? I remember it was one of those annoying situations with regards as to who had the rights to the franchise.
Developed by Monolith (behind FEAR and Condemned) so unless Nu-Sierra teams up with them, it's not likely to happen.
new swat game to compete with new rainbow six game? (optimistic as fuck)
new swat game to compete with new rainbow six game? (optimistic as fuck)
Again, it's very doubtful. I don't think any of the Irrational team members are still working for Irrational nowadays and the likelihood of Nu-Sierra reviving a somewhat niche IP (at least at first) is very distant. Irrational only recently had a massive upsizing and downsizing too in the lead-up and wake of Bioshock Infinite, so the odds are it's never going to happen.
People expecting anything good out of this are going to be disappointed, this entire thread is reminiscing about the past when this Sierra might not be anything like the one we all remember.
EA is Valve's retail publisher tho.
Yeah I know I was just referring to back in '98 when Sierra was Valve's publisher.

If only Hi-Rez didn't still own the rights to the Starsiege universe after they fucked up Tribes Ascend.
On another note, anybody know how to get Earthsiege 2 running on W7?
fuck it bring back hoyle casino
EarthSiege was ok, but the MechWarrior games were better. I would second the possiblity of HD or even new Kings Quest games.

That's actually where I first heard about it, and later I got it.
Hell I still have the case right here. "One battle can change the fate of a nation, 1000 years of warfare can change the fate of the world."
Irrational only made SWAT 4.
Actually I'm pretty sure Pandemic (The guys behind Silent Hill 1 and 2) made SWAT 4.
Oh please god Homeworld 3 or Evil Genius 2
Homeworld was sold to Gearbox after THQ, you know. Now they are remaking both the games with better graphics. Later, when Gearbox heard that the original creators of Homeworld were making another game by the title HARDWARE: Shipbreakers, with close similarities to parts of the Homeworld series, Gearbox contacted them and now a prequel to Homeworld is being made and is named Homeworld: Shipbreakers.
HORAY!
I hope this leads to Homeworld 3.
A brother in (metal) arms!
One of the best games I played, and the damage system was amazing. You could blast off every limb of a robot and he'd still be going in whatever retarded manner he could manage. Or when you'd blast off an arm but it was still attached by some wiring and you could still fire the gun in that arm but you had to flail your body around to aim.
Some of the best multiplayer moments with Glitch in the System, I hope it one day is resurrected, I honestly thought this game was going to be Xbox's Ratchet and Clank franchise.
Metal arms was indeed the shit.
EA is Valve's retail publisher tho.

Irrational made SWAT 4, and Pandemic did not make Silent Hill, ever.
