What happened to you being Texan?
I've always been Washingtonian. Where did you get the idea that I was Texan?
I was looking for sources on why corporations would hoard cash, most of them seem to indicate that some corporations hoard cash because they are apprehensive of the idea of further economic downturn, the fear of which arguably could be influenced by more government intervention in the market.
Why? I'm not particularly sure. I'm sure I can think of many theories, some may or may not be true. The fact is, they do. That was number one on the list as to why trickle down economics did not work; the theory was to give the money to the wealthy, and it'll trickle down - but it didn't, it just stayed at the top. Things like Swiss Bank accounts, or excess funds; for the most part, wealthy people just do not trickle money down. If the fear of economic downturn due to government intervention was true, then trickle down would have worked. Reagan was at the lowest when government wasn't in the market and even aided corporations - fuck, we still are, corporations can get away with a lot. If a company says they hoard money because fear of government in the market, it's a lie, because it doesn't effect them. And at a point where they were literally just GIVEN money to trickle down but instead hoarded, they had nothing to fear of the government being in the market. [editline]27th April 2012[/editline]
He's just an angry little kid. Arguing with a paranoid lunatic like him is totally pointless; instead you should learn to laugh at him, since he gets incredibly mad whenever somebody disagrees with him.
Weren't you the guy telling us to buy gold because the end times are coming or something? And you want to call me paranoid? I use harsh words because that's how I talk, does not indicate emotion. I thought people would have gotten this fact by now.
Ron Paul is like a glass of generic-brand red cranberry juice. Sweet and refreshing at first, with a vile aftertaste. Some have learned to get used to the aftertaste, and even accept it. But for most, the aftertaste is still there and still very off-putting. The difference is that cranberry juice is healthy for a body. Ron Paul, however, is not.
