The Hong Kong airport is beautiful and impeccably clean. At any time you will see people in all white outfits reaching into garbage bins and pulling out the trash with gloves, wiping down hand rails and mopping the floors. They like to keep their bin bags completely empty all day instead of taking out the bags once they're full. I was stuck there on layover for 18 hours and all hotels were completely booked so I slept on a bench. No free WiFi though :(

Back in 2007 I stopped in Singapore airport, they had a LAN room with six gaming computers. In the eight hour wait, I played a marathon game of Battlefield 2 with a four koreans and a Scotsman with a legit kilt. :v:

It was bizarre to see but it makes a lot of sense if you can find people willing to do it.
american airports were designed to just function as airports and get the job done ours arent too fancy
Which is why it should try and be fancy.
Come to our country for some shining examples :v:
Duude The airport in Amritsar... is terrible l0l.
Going through an airport is an ordeal, it should be named "The worlds least worst airport"
Going through an airport is an ordeal, it should be named "The worlds least worst airport"
almost all big airports are pretty amazing places, it really is just all the stuff you have to go through in them that ruins it
I wonder what the worlds worst airports are like...
I can help you with that from the airplane safety standpoint
Wow that's actually really cool
And the best thing is, if you worked in the transit area, you get do all that shit while you are having lunch break. Or if your job was like mine, you could spend the whole fucking day inside the transit area.
I wonder what the worlds worst airports are like...
Chicago O'Hare.
Its actually not that amazing really, I worked in the airport on some 4D cinema ride shit, and it was right beside. Only kids go there, and you had to spend like 50 bucks before you get a ticket for the ride. Its just a slide, that's about it. Because we held some of the receipts, we had virtually unlimited rides. So on shitty days where there is barely anyone, we kept going on the ride. Took me ages to figure it out because I had no reason to go to bottom floor.
I've been through the Beijing Capital Airport and that place is just massive The interior was pretty cool and all, but the fact that it was cordoned off from the rest of the city just makes it very big. When we took our taxi to the airport to leave, we had to enter two toll roads, and there is an independent stretch of freeway that leads directly to the airport. There were no other urban buildings surrounding it, it was just the international airport and all it's glory.
I hate airports with low ceilings and dark lighting, the worst were Frankfurt Airport and parts of Heathrow.
