good job knowing absolutely nothing the average age of a console gamer is 37. there are more adult women who play games than children under 18 who play games.
The difference is the adult players know to not mic spam, so you barely notice them.
you mean to tell me a console that was released in 2005 isn't selling well? game industry is dying
The difference is the adult players know to not mic spam, so you barely notice them.
Actually, most of them just tend to shut the fuck up and deal with it if something goes wrong, so you never hear them anyways, giving the impression that most gamers are whiny 9 year olds throwing their toys out the pram.
Uh... hardcore gamers would probably save up for a PC, the majority of console users (or from what I've seen, anyway) are 12 year olds.
Not always possible, you may be a hardcore gamer, but not everybody is in the economic state to build themselves a decent PC, they may find consoles more accessible/cheaper in their situation
Uh... hardcore gamers would probably save up for a PC, the majority of console users (or from what I've seen, anyway) are 12 year olds.
"Hardcore Gamer" is one of the most retarded term I've ever heard. There are a shitload of "hardcore" games then and now on consoles. Do you even Contra motherfucker? Do you even KNOW what a Super Mario Sunshine is?
I predict PS4 and WiiU suffering, or not doing as well due to lack of interest by the average consumers Microsoft's 720(?) is going to end up the winner of the console war due to its legion of retarded fans just keep pumping out doritos and mountain dew ads and they are set for life
That's assuming that Nintendo and Playstation don't have their legions of fans.

Can't wait for some PC masterrace arguments versus console paesants statements :v:
That's assuming that Nintendo and Playstation don't have their legions of fans.
Playstation is losing them/dwindling in size, and Nintendo's core fanbase ("casuals") is losing interest in keeping up with the new systems
If you aren't prestige 10 in atleast 3 different Call of Duty games (no prestige in the old ones because they were gay lol) you can't call yourself a hardcore gamer.

well, congratulations to take-two for making the right choices in game developing and to GameStop for expanding their buisness.
Playstation is losing them/dwindling in size, and Nintendo's core fanbase ("casuals") is losing interest in keeping up with the new systems
Both Sony and Nintendo are still going pretty strong. Nintendo DS systems and games are still flying off the shelves, with Wii games not too far behind. There is a bit of stagnation with the Wii though; customers aren't buying the system anymore. Sony has been gaining a ton of momentum over the last few years, most of which I think can be chalked up to the PS3's (finally) strong game library, as well as the free online, Blu-Ray, and hardware reliability. Microsoft is still the leader of the pack, but the other two are still well in the competition. I anticipate the Wii U launch, despite us having only a dozen units to sell, will demonstrate that Nintendo still has a huge fanbase that was just waiting for Nintendo to finally catch up with the modern era.
