can't even properly center the designs, disgusting [editline]26th July 2013[/editline] just a bunch of lazily cropped doddles made by 5 year old toddlers pasted over a bunch of coins made to be stolen
Your primitive European mind has failed to notice that when placed in those positions, the designs form the British coat of arms. We beat you enough times for you to know what that looks like.
Coins are so inconvenient! Why would you carry around a pocket full of coins when you can just fold a bill into your wallet?
To inconvenience rude clerks and terrible service workers.
Jokes on him
Jokes on him
I'd like to believe we should only have dollar bills when going into higher denominations such as $10, $20, $50, and $100. Everything else should be done in coins.
I would stop tipping when I eat at restaurants simply because I refuse to tip with coins and I'm not tipping $5 on a $20 meal with my girlfriend. I generally tip 10% if my glass never goes empty and 20% if I like the service and the server is either working their ass off or providing great service. It'll also doom my wallet to just carrying big bills, no thanks I don't want jingly ass change in my pockets that falls out. I don't want to drop more coins and have to pick up a bunch of coins that got dumped on the ground by retarded cashiers that are worth enough to actually buy something. If it costs so much to mint a $1 bill why don't we just print them cheaper, it's not like it'll ever be cost effective to counterfeit dollar bills.
Coins are inferior to bills in literally every way that matters why would we do this. They're inconvenient noisy and a pain in the ass to lug around. Not to mention if you accidentally drop a dollar its no big deal but if you drop some coins everyone for 4 blocks can hear that shit.
But the sound of them colliding with each other is so satisfying to hear.
Not when you're trying to not get mugged.
Coins are inferior to bills in literally every way that matters why would we do this. They're inconvenient noisy and a pain in the ass to lug around. What's with all the hate for coins? You guys know that shit spends too, right? :v:
I don't tip strippers because I don't hang out at sleazy joints of depravity.
If your gonna stop printing 1 dollar bills you should do the same with pennies.
It always seemed weird to me how you guys still have a bill with such a tiny value. Our biggest coin is currently 50CZK which is about $2.5. The smallest banknote is 100CZK, so about $5 We used to have something comparable to $1 banknotes like, five years ago, and even then it used to be super rare, and also, then the value actually still used to be higher cause inflation and shit.
If you think that's weird, you should see tolar, the currency we used before the euro replaced it. The lowest bill was 10 tolars which is worth barely 4 euro cents.
Coins are fun until you have a bunch of them in your pocket and they become a loud hassle to carry around.
I thought last we tried the dollar coin people got pissy about it being dumb because it's harder to carry pockets of coins than to fold bills up [t]http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb364/brg5658/Sales/2000P_Goodacre_Presentation_Sacagawea_Dollar_PCGS_SP67_composite.jpg[/t]
I got a few of those saved up from when they came out. They aren't mint though.
this also assumes that as soon as a 1$ coin is minted, all dollar bills will immediately disappear from circulation and become worthless there will still be hundreds of thousands, probably millions of dollar bills floating around, and people will still use them. strippers need not worry about running out of money to put in their underwear, at least not for a long while
The $1 bill only has a lifespan of two years. After that, it gets worn to the point of uselessness. So double that to make sure and you'll see more coins in use.
Oh man, can you imagine how much a million dollar bills would be worth?

In Canada we put our 1$ coins in Stripper's coin slots. If you know what I mean
My friend told me last night how a stripper was picking up a coin with her snatch and the friend opened their mouth and swallowed the coin
i don't think people would tip strippers with $5's personally, though I wouldn't mind being proven wrong
In Canada, since we don't have $1 bills, we tip with $5's. Or at least in the places I've been to.
people who say this is a bad idea because they don't want to tip more or tip with coins are the same people that got us into this financial hellhole because they're more interested in squeezing money out of important programs than removing superfluous sources of debt [editline]26th July 2013[/editline] i mean, are you shitting me? this country is in trillions of dollars in debt, this is a viable way to earn back hundreds of millions of dollars and all you care about is tipping your waitress at a restaurant? how stupid could you be? the logical step would be to go full-europe and pay waitresses more so that they don't need tips
