Yeah, not every piece of clothing has made it in for both genders. They tried.

The optimist in me says they'll release the rest of it in an update.

I think they did say they sacrificed some to get the update out, so maybe.
Female characters still can't wear Star Wars costumes that are not female.
On the upside, more clothing for everyone, downside means the ultimately means less clothing in the next game.
More options = more fun
I don't see why anyone should have an issue with this.
I'm still not gonna get the game because its too expensive.
Wow, why is it still $60?
EA does sometimes does big sales for their First party games.
Yeah the Sims games are all great in their own ways, but their pricing is universally ridiculous.
It's not just the initial price that is the issue. The base game has very little content, so you have to buy some of the outrageously expensive addon packs to have fun with it for a decent amount of time.
They've actually only released two proper expansions for Sims 4 that have added functionality, the rest are just stuff packs with new items.

They've added 2 expansions and 2 'game packs' as well which do add more gameplay to it. And the Stuff Packs, while still being eh, have added some functions to the game outside of decoration. Mostly minor activities or minor skill building things, but still adding on to it in bits and pieces. Doesn't make the stuff packs worth it tho.
how is sims 4? i liked sims 3 but it lagged too much and the loading took ages. is there a modding scene around sims 4?
Honestly I like the sims 4, but I keep going back to two or three.
The improvements like sims being able multitask or talk to a group of people easily is great. The problems I have is the amount amount of content in the base game. Even with expansions like Get to Work (which is seems to be best right now.), I can't play it more than thirty minutes.

They must've hotfixed it because I was just checking it out and had a female Boba Fett.

Same gripe, here. Sims 4 had huge improvements to core systems, but suffers from a severe lack of core content. Give it four hundred dollars worth of DLC ( :yarr: ) and it will probably be a blast, but it's very underwhelming atm.
Plus, I'm still quite bitter about removing the Create-a-style system. That was a groundbreaking feature for three! I spent countless hours fucking about with it, color coordinating outfits, furniture, home decor, etc. Removing it in favor of preset color combos is a huge step back.
