I live fifteen minutes away from the restaurant. I've been there before, chances are if you eat there you aren't exactly the best society has to offer. You feel like you walk through Baghdad to get to the front door. :v:

Wow I can't believe how many people are saying things like, "Well they should just go lose weight." That's more insulting than just being called fat. Losing weight is hard as hell and I know that from experience. I know nothing about these women and for all I know they've never ran a mile in their life. And yes, they are overreacting a bit. But still like tons of people have said on this thread, they don't deserve that.

They're people and have names and it would've been more courteous and less offensive to just simply ask for one of their names. I do agree, being overweight is terrible and it really does take simple lifestyle changes to lose it. Exercise helps but it really falls on your diet for the most part. Eat healthy and you're not going to be able to maintain that 300lb+ figure for long. People who refuse to lose weight do it simply because they lack the willpower to control their eating. I'm a bit baffled as to why FP is defending the restaurant. Yes, the girls overreacted extremely and I won't deny that but the restaurant was also extremely out of line and I find the action's of a business, insulting their customers (yes, it's insulting. Being fat is not a positive thing.) to be worse.

We're discussing how a restaurant insulted their customers and if we replace "fat" with "ugly", we'd have the same story here. The waiter didn't refer to the girls as "medically ill." He referred to them as "fat".
