I wonder what Facepunch would think if Romney actually won
Fox News: Mass number of evil socialist liberals leaving America to go to Europe moments after Romney is declared the presidency winner. More at 11.
I wonder what Facepunch would think if Romney actually won
The same thing every other intelligent and civilized person across the world will be thinking. "Well, the Earth has had a good run, but all good things must come to an end."
I wonder what Facepunch would think if Romney actually won
"If the world got over 8 years of Bush, I think we can get over this guy".
I wonder what Facepunch would think if Romney actually won
I'd realize he would probably have the exact same centrist policies and nothing would change
Wow guys this film is a real smash hit among critics everywhere!! [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] I still think Obama has a good chance of winning, regardless of a documentary or not.
User review on metacritic by TRUTH2016 "This movie are for open-minded independent people who are willing to take their time to analyze the information presented or gathered; and then have an objective conclusion; abstaining to entertain their emotional tantrum. The movie shows the objectivity in finding the internal (hidden to the public) compass of the character of obama from his childhood into his adult life. The journey takes you to different parts of the world; the people who had influence his life and his character (especially his parent and immediate family member's ideology); interviews with people who knows his parents and how their mindset have imbedded into obama's being and thinking. It investigates and expound the sort of people that obama associated with (his role model). The best part about this movie is that excerpts was taken from his memoir "dream from my father" with his own voice narrating the events. The question here is that will his ideology acceptable for AMERICA or the founding fathers. If a person will open their eyes and be objective and not subjective; then a lot can be learn from this movie. A MUST-SEE movie for all AMERICAN. NOTE: If you have not seen the movie; STOP making a FOOL of yourself by commenting on something you have not viewed but trying to make an assumption. IGNORANCE occur because he or she remains STUPID, NARROW MINDED and full of ASSUMPTION but KNOWLEDGE is attained by investigating the facts then supporting or discrediting the information obtained." MUST-SEE movie for all AMERICAN. [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] Helpful? 11 of 27 users said Yes. This is the fucking most helpful review on this movie on Metacritic.
The entire idea if the film is predicated on the belief that Obama inherited anti-colonial sentiments from his father, and basing his outlook on life with that, wants to decrease America's standing in the world. I find the idea a little bit conspiratorial.
Yeah, that's ridiculous. Obama's deadbeat father didn't stick around long enough to impact him in any real philosophical manner.
I wonder what Facepunch would think if Romney actually won
I have a morbid curiosity that kinda wants Romney to win just to see what he does.
I saw the movie and I have to say, it was very informative.

It's about as reliable as a DEA documentary on the effects of pot, or if the FRC made a documentary on homosexuality. If you want to be all high and mighty, do your own research, and look for something with a little less bias.
I saw the movie and I have to say, it was very informative.
I can imagine you being in the front of the line on opening day, Glaber. Does this movie actually make any claims that can be backed by fact? Or is it going by the assumption that because Obama's "mentors" or "role models" held a certain ideology it means Obama has to hold the exact same ideology?
I wonder what Facepunch would think if Romney actually won
I would spend the following two weeks laughing almost nonstop about the thought that there's several hundred idiots in Facepunch now being absolutely ripshit pissed that their bestest country again voted the worst idiot in history to lead it :v:

Isn't it the republican press who wants to link everything Obama to Hitler? Guess who else made "documentaries" to discredit the other party... Hitler.
I have a morbid curiosity that kinda wants Romney to win just to see what he does.
Me too, only I want to see what Paul Ryan would do on the off chance Romney dies for some reason and he has to take over. I wager it would all fail spectacularly, Bioshock Rapture style.
Obama's policy for the next four years will be... ...more of the last four years. It is funny how Republicans like to get themselves so scared of unlikely things. [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] I am going to make an alternate Obama's America in which everything is exactly the same in 2016 as it is now.

Dinesh also visits with people who knew Obama so as to learn more about him.
Dinesh D'Souza really needs to go away.

It's all very intellectual stuff
lol who actually watches this shit, i couldn't watch a 'liberal documentary' let alone a die hard conservative one. i'd prefer something a little more factual and stimulating pls
if'it's about Obama's past then why is it called Obama 2016 isn't that the future?
Those who do not learn of the past, shall doom their future
im p sure obama is going to do way more in the next 4 years (provided he is elected, of course) than he did the last 4 i mean, now he can't be re-elected, and other presidents have done this as well not to say it is a bad thing or fear-mongering, but it would be silly to think he would be doing the same thing he is doing now
With the Republicans poised to keep the House and take the Senate, I am not sure Obama will be able to magically do everything he wanted to do, even if he acts tougher.
Those who do not learn of the past, shall doom their future
cliche of the century
Those who do not learn of the past, shall doom their future
right by that logic we should kick Italy out of NATO because they switch alliances a lot fuck off.
While it is good to look to the past to avoid making mistakes in the future, delving into Obama's personal life to try showing that he will be some sort of evil Socialist is pretty dumb.
