anyone taking top gear for a factual car show is dumb
That's messed. Those Tesla Cars are pretty quick and really reliable. tsk tsk tsk.
Taken from a show that barley reviews cars and just does thee things for shits and giggles, wow.
I think that Tesla want attention.
Well, sucks that they lied, but I'm not surprised. They're about as progressive as....snails. They're worse than captain slow.
Least they showed a legit run of the track though.
Well, sucks that they lied, but I'm not surprised. They're about as progressive as....snails. They're worse than captain slow.
They are not about how fast they are... it's not like you can go 200mph on a city anyway.
They ran down on power what did you expect?
stop you're not funny
stop you're not funny
:smith: Yeah, I'm not running on a full charge today.
Even if the show is humorous, it was presenting these rigged tests as facts, and thus people who took that piece of it seriously now have a bias against Tesla motors. I think it's perfectly within Tesla's rights to sue.
Got a bad review, I better sue
Got a bad review, I better sue
Na, they made it seem worse than it is by faking breakdowns and power downs. I still don't know why they left it 3 years after it was broadcast.
not until they're good
Bad publicity makes companies think twice before investing in the technology you fool
yeah so the kkk's agenda against black people is well known, doesn't mean we let it slide when they burn crosses on people's lawns
What? I'm saying that Top Gear absolutely should have this suit brought against them and that if Tesla Motors' allegations are true then they should get some kind of compensation from the BBC.
Of course the test is rigged, all damn tests, races and shit is all made up. I mean how many times do they buy a car that breaks down after a couple of miles. How many time do they called the Volvo the caravans friend. Why do random shit that never happen fucking happen on top gear. If someone looks at a Tesla roadster and say i wont buy that shit since it was shit on top gear. It's not fucking top gears fault, not Teslas fault it's the dumb fucking idiot that took the program to serious.
Na, they made it seem worse than it is by faking breakdowns and power downs. I still don't know why they left it 3 years after it was broadcast.
The article said it was because the episode was being released on a DVD in the US which is probably's Tesla's main market.

They're damaging Tesla Motors' reputation by doing this, it most certainly is their fault.
Much as I love Top Gear, Tesla's got a strong case.

I still see a dead end.
Tesla didn't have to give them the cars to review, by doing so they have given total freedom with it. Wasn't this announced by Tesla almost last year, that they planned on doing something, and they themselves said that If you drive it like they did on the track it is possible to only get about 50-60 miles out of it, not 211?
Tesla didn't have to give them the cars to review, by doing so they have given total freedom with it. good luck suing the BBC. thats like kick boxing a kangaroo.
Now a new episode will be made and it will be Jeremy sarcastically kissing Tesla's ass.
I love Top Gear, I absolutely do. But even I raged when I saw the review of this car. Tesla Roarter is an incredible piece of electric car tech and TG just took a huge bullshit dump on it and still bashes how all electric cars blow.
tesla can fuck right off nobody sues the BBC :colbert:
boo hoo they got a bad review.
No. Top Gear rigged it to make the car look like a piece of shit.
No, don't just build a newer, better model and send it to Top Gear for a follow-up review to get good publicity, sue and make yourselves look even more like assholes.
No, don't just build a newer, better model and send it to Top Gear for a follow-up review to get good publicity, sue and make yourselves look even more like assholes.
i doubt they have the money to get a new model off the ground which isnt a modified tesla
No, don't just build a newer, better model and send it to Top Gear for a follow-up review to get good publicity, sue and make yourselves look even more like assholes.
How many times do we have to explain Top Gear faked the result, BBC admitted it
No, don't just build a newer, better model and send it to Top Gear for a follow-up review to get good publicity, sue and make yourselves look even more like assholes.
Why fix something that isn't broken?
