What the hell
Sony Vegas also appears to be a part of this huge rumor mill: http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/207340/
Here's more: Grim Dawn (Already known) http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/219990/ The Hobbit http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/219110/ Runescape http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/205890/ Dota 2 dedicated server http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/205800/ BIT.TRIP FLUX http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/205090/ BIT.TRIP FATE http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/205080/ Tactical Intervention http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/51100/ Frogger http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/19040/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Episode_I:_Racer I hope this
Now THAT is something I'll pay for twice. No jokes.
Hopefully Halo will use Steamworks and not GFWL
I think gwfl is going to be extinct with microsoft moving away from it to use windows 8's xbox migration so they could use something different
You'd think MS would announce it if H3 was coming to PC :v:
Eruption spreading
im so excited for yogventures best game on list
Sony Vegas also appears to be a part of this huge rumor mill: http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/207340/
Oh fuck yes But I still like sony vegas 10 because it has real time updating with the pan tool and the newer versions dropped that
I think gwfl is going to be extinct with microsoft moving away from it to use windows 8's xbox migration so they could use something different
Hopefully but I don't mind GFWL personally as long as we have servers, I understand there's a lot of countries that have huge issues with it and I understand that but... HALO 3 ON PC
Oh fuck yes But I still like sony vegas 10 because it has real time updating with the pan tool and the newer versions dropped that
Depending on how it's priced (hopefully not as expensive as on Sony's site), I might actually buy it on a summer or Christmas/winter sale.
If the halo 3 port is actually good lets see it have 50 000 people playing.
None of the games have an sdk I didn't think. You have to import everything into 3ds Max and then export it back. (Which sucks because this means that only a small group of people have the ability to mod for those games).
There's a total conversion mod for CE in the works that basically mixes 2/3/Reach elements in with the gameplay, I can't remember its name but there is quite a large mod team for it (Hell just look at the maps made for it)

I don't know why you keep mentioning 3dsMAX though, are you talking about only models (or level geometry possibly)? Because there is more to modding than just that. :v:
Runescape http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/205890/
Call me an idiot but I see this as a good thing because you could potentially move over 1 million players to steam and it could give valve a chance to make steam more family friendly for kids which could open up more audiences
Call me an idiot but I see this as a good thing because you could potentially move over 1 million players to steam and it could give valve a chance to make steam more family friendly for kids which could open up more audiences
Subscriptions through steam is useful too.
Hopefully but I don't mind GFWL personally as long as we have servers, I understand there's a lot of countries that have huge issues with it and I understand that but... HALO 3 ON PC
GWFL fucked around with my gta 4 files, because I moved to windows 8 then back to 7 and it was gone even though i had the data files, now that im on windows 8 again ill have to rework my way up but I am pretty excited for this
Didn't the Halo 2 multiplayer servers go down not long ago?
Call me an idiot but I see this as a good thing because you could potentially move over 1 million players to steam and it could give valve a chance to make steam more family friendly for kids which could open up more audiences
Also a shit load of scammers
Before taking this as 100% fact, read my post here.
what, where
Nowhere, at least I havent found it.
Didn't the Halo 2 multiplayer servers go down not long ago?
They're still up, but not for much longer.
Before taking this as 100% fact, read my post here.
Yes, everyone read this.
Also a shit load of scammers
Valve already deals with that, but still family versions of steam could have some things not activated until a certain age like buying a game may require a PIN or talking to people could be limited (no voice chat, links etc.) oh and full game rating integration like ERSB, PEGI, OFLC etc.
Hmm I dunno, after look through the games on the fart, and I may be crazy but perhaps we're not gonna see these games on the PC, instead steam on the next Xbox? It makes sense, the next xbox could also become a steambox and it would be a surefire way for Microsoft to get the upper hand on the PS4. But I'm probably reading way too much into this. Plus as well as this Steam is getting people on board for the steambox as well.
Didn't the Halo 2 multiplayer servers go down not long ago?
Watch the servers be hosted by Valve. Steamworks integrated into Halo, no more GFWL
Watch the servers be hosted by Valve. Steamworks integrated into Halo, no more GFWL
The community for that would be 10x that of Halo 2 Vista at its peak. It would be awesome.
Hopefully Halo will use Steamworks and not GFWL
I think GFWL is gone for good, if you open up the GFWL client the Store tab doesn't even work or show games, and the last game to use it was Batman: AC IIRC
Before taking this as 100% fact, read my post here.
The thread title has 'possibly' in it for a reason
I really hope Halo trilogy will get on steam, it gets a lot of hate from people for some reason but frankly it's a really solid game. The soundtrack is amazing too.
Watch the servers be hosted by Valve. Steamworks integrated into Halo, no more GFWL
My guess is the game heavily relies on GFWL. How often do game devs go back and make huge changes like this? Especially on a 2007(?) release title. I hope it happens, but all of this seems too good to be true.
